It also brings up an interesting comparison with Bangalore which
conventional wisdom (in rsc) told us was never suitable for this form
of the game while comparing Dravid to an intelligent idiot (where
probably the poster's point of view may have been expressed more aptly
by stating that an idiot is an intelligent Dravid). As the saying goes
if you fail doing what "everyone" believes was the right thing to do
then that is understandable. That does not mean that Bangalore chose
the right team but that it is just not as simple as that.
