Losing a Test after scoring 2X as many runs in 1st inns

Here is a list of Tests in which one side scored twice as many runs in
the first innings as the opponent and still went on to lost the match.
The side batting first is listed first. The ratio of the first innings
is in the first column.

Qualification – both first innings were complete

It would be interesting to see the list of victories after conceding
deficits larger than say 250 with completed first innings.

Another unusual feature is that Clarke scored more in the first innings
than South Africa; this has happened at least twice before as EAB Rowan
scored 143 at Durban in 1949-50 and RA McLean scored 142 at Lord's in 1955.
