ICL should go into talks with the smaller boards not in the Champions
League' management (That's everyone except BCCI, CSA, CA). The boards
should consider it and offer it board cover (Just as IPL is BCCI and
Champions league is CSA, BCCI and CA). The name could change to
International Cricket League. This will allow all players to play in
it and will provide it enough grounds in enough countries including
Dubai and Abudhabi. As IPl has shown that the tournament does not have
to take place in India for India (or the world) to be interested. They
would be able to recruit Indian players just like IPL can recruit non-
Indian players. This can make ICL a truly rival league to IPL or at
least come close. There is no incentive for the smaller boards to not
consider such a move. This way they can have a share in their own
league and ICL initiators would be able to initially distribute costs
for sustainability and also get the players and grounds that have been
so hard to come by. Once this happens there is no reason for them to
be not profitable.
