Hurrah! Audley un-retires again!
|

I think he needs to see a psychiatrist, quickly:

Mathysse-Peterson
|
| |
Wow, Matthysse really has fists of stone. The second knockdown was the
only clean shot (of the knockdown shots), but he is so heavy-handed it
didn't matter. Remember, Peterson is the guy who Khan had to fight for
twelve rounds (although Khan knocked him down, too). But Matthysse
just exploded on Peterson like a nuclear bomb. Matthysse-Garcia and a... more »

Mosley vs Can from Cancun, Mexico
|
| |
Sugar Shane is 41-year-old. Isn't it about time to hang 'em up?
He boxed well, threw some good shots that were square on the mark, but he couldn't take Cano out. Mosley was in good shape, maintained his fight weight, father Jack was there. Both looking older. Apparently the smell of the gym and the money is still attractive to them.... more »

Povietkin vs. Vavzjik
|
| |
I found a Russian video at the TPB, and just started watching. This
fight could be really interesting. Povietkin is good. Will he be the
next opponent for Wlad? By the way, the Russian studio girl is
*gorgeous*!

Amazingly, he's doing it with close and debatable losses, and it's way
to soon to utter words like "heavyweight division revival" but
Philadelphia's Steve Cunningham is centerpiecing the success of NBC's
newish "Fight Night" specials.
"Our Fight Night telecasts have drawn strong viewership as evidenced... more »

Injured Haye pulls out of Charr fight
|
| |
Former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye has pulled out of his proposed 29 June bout with Manuel Charr due to a hand injury sustained in training.
The Briton had hoped a strong showing against Lebanon-born German Charr, 28, would help set up a world title fight with one of the Klitschko brothers.... more »

Question to proffesional boxers
|
| |
Do you think the difference between someone who boxes proffesionally and has fought as an amateur is then those guys who become pro after fighting in a tough man competition is basically as follows. If you fight as a pro with an amateur record you try to fight like Muhammad Ali, if you enter pro after fighting in a tough man competition you try to fight like Rocky Balboa. My reasons for saying this is, I would watch Tommy Morrison fight and he would get knocked down by just about everyone. Yet Holyfeld(and I mean when he was in his 20's now not later) that he would try to make sure you just did not knock him down or hit him in the first place?... more »
