I had the opportunity to recently interview featherweight champion
Jeannine Garside who will seek to take the lightweight title from
Chevelle Hallback next month. Jeannine is an awesome fighter and had
a lot to say about her career and female boxing in general. Please
take a look.

Couple of comments: a quibble with an early paragraph and problems with
length of the piece.

"Jeannine Garside, the current featherweight champion of the world will
be moving up in weight to face a naturally larger fighter with
significantly more professional experience, but don’t let her undefeated
record of seven victories with one draw fool you."

It sounds like you're holding up her near perfect record as commendable
and at the same time using it to prove how inexperienced she is. It
probably bothers nobody except me.

About the length, you sure give 'em their money's worth with this
one--size-wise. It's so long I wound up skimming it about half way through.

It's sound work, though, and my opinions are only my opinions.

Thanks,

LNC

Yeah, I always struggle with what to cut out. I find it all so
interesting, but I am a total boxing freak, so I need to keep in mind
folks don't have 20 minutes to read through something. With regard to
her record, I was just trying to make the point that although she only
has 8 professional fights, she is quite experienced given her level of
competition and amateur background.

Thanks for the comments.
