He got a 6 round KO. What more do you want from the guy? Find him
some exciting competition and you might get an exciting fight,
otherwise Wladimir is just going to go out, work up a little sweat and
then put his opponent down -- like he should.

I know I am spoiled, If have seen both Cassius Clay and Mike Tyson in my
lifetime, so I cannot complain I guess.
Do you know how long it takes in average until such an exceptional talent
surface? I don't! In Soccer we had Pele and Johan Cruijff...but there are
still many very good "football" players out there, not so in heavyweight
boxing. For many years there is noone who even come anywhere near the the
greats. No matter what people say and compare there "local" hero with
Mike Tyson AFTER he and Rooney where separated.

To be honest I really don't know if there is anyone.
But don't tell me the last 15 guys that either Clinchko fought where the
best out there.

They should fight decent opponents and not only in there back yard with
there own referees. It is a disgrace to see the clinchko's jumping on the
back of there opponents every time and sometimes even seeing there
opponents being penalized.
Oh and since it seems to me that -whats his name-, getting more muscular
with old age, I wonder if they don't do unannounced drug testing if any
at all, I am getting a little suspicious.

But have either of them sidestepped anyone in that time, anyone who had a
realistic chance of beating them (apart from each other)?

Maybe the "K Brothers" are just incredibly lucky heavyweight champions -
there's just nobody around good enough to beat them, yet they still have a
huge following. But in their defence, they can only fight whatever is out
there.

This is why I moan about heavyweight boxing (which I've followed my whole
life), the kinds of challengers who are billed "one fight away" from
fighting for the title are the likes of Fury, Price, Cunningham, Wilder. In
the past, champions like Tyson or Lewis wouldn't even have heard of them,
never mind fight them, nobody would pay to see it. They're all glorified
cruiserweights to me, with overblown records and not one of them stands out
and screams "I'm good enough to challenge".

Boxing really needs to get to grips with this black hole, the gulf between
the champions and the credible challengers is just too big. I suppose when
the brothers retire, there will be a flurry of inter-challenger bouts with
the belts changing hands every few months but I can't see anyone dominating
the division for at least the first 5 years after the Klitschkos retire.

Pele (who played in the World Cup in Stockholm, 1958) wouldn't be in
any of today's elite teams, not by a long shot. It's not about talent,
it is about *training*. This is true in football, and in boxing. The
best athletes are those who are best *today*.
