Master Chalk

I know everyone here thinks Master chalk is about as good as it gets but is
there a quality difference between the standard blue and the light green
chalk or is it my imagination? I don't really care for the light green
stuff -- it seems to be much softer and not really as good (does not hold as
well) as the blue?

Those have always been my observation too John. Plus green seems to
'stain' the cloth way more than blue (go figger).

Here's a good RSB chalk thread that essentially is quite thumbs down
on any manufacturer's green chalk due to textural reasons, it plays
differently, has unresolved chemistry problems, and several other
reasons (too bright, etc.):
