It is more than a little interesting that the Bible condemns
homosexuality. It is this type of wisdom that in no small part is
responsible for making the Bible such a timeless and highly respected
work. The ancient writers clearly knew that homosexuality was an
abnormal human condition. It is unclear to me at least, not being a
scholar of ancient writings, to what extent they understood the
dysfunctional causes of homosexuality as I outlined above.
It does seems likely to me that, at least in part, it was their sense
of the mental torment that results from being homosexual that they
described as hell.
