Okay . . . Swoopes is going to end up on the national team, isn't she?

I don't know. They want her. She would like to be on, but the
main issue seems to be child care or something and couldn't work
a deal out. I think her or Tina are the logical choices for the
final roster spot. I think Swoopes has the edge not only because
of her experience playing in the Olympics but with most of the
current Olympic players. Who ever fills the last spot is going to
have *a lot* of catching up to do and very little time to do it.
I would think they would turn to a veteran who can come in and
pick things up very quickly and leave few question marks.

She looked absolutely fantastic today. Incredibly fit. Her arms are so
buff I even forgive the B-52 hairdo. ;-)

Yeah, she should definitely go back to the Braids. :)

It looked like she was channeling "That Girl" era Marlo Thomas! <G> Of
course, if she keeps playing like that, she could wear her hair like Michael
Jordan and still look great.

Hey - it would be easy to manage. ;) According to the article in
SI For Women,Sheryl likes to change her hairstyle frequently, so
I'm sure that was just one in a long line of 'dos for this
season.

Yeah the second is Swoopes. I wasn't sure on the first one
but took a guess anyway.

I was going to point out the same thing... Sheryl's hair is like the weather in
Texas; if you don't like it, just wait a week. :-)
