[This is from what I saw and the notes I took. Please excuse
spelling, grammatical, and typing errors as I haven't been
getting much sleep. Times listed indicates time _left_ in the
quarter, half, game and/or overtime. I am assuming that you know
who plays for which team and I sometime abbreviate teams' names
to two or three letters. I'm going to use present tense even
though the games are over because I think present tense shows
more of the emotion and I don't have to convert my notes.

Seattle Supersonics vs Houston Rockets in Houston

1st Quarter:
5-2 Sea. Perkins is fouled going for the slam. 1 of 2. Thorpe
misses. McKey hits the short turn around jumper. Horry rattles
in the long jumper. Payton hits for 2 from the corner. Hou
turnover. Pierce misses. K Smith nails the long jumper. Sloppy
bball. Payton misses. Sea steals. 3 on 1 and McKey gets 2.
Olajuwon hits the hook. McKey is fouled driving. 2 of 2. 14-8
Sea 7:10. Hou turnover. McKey gets the driving drop in. Thorpe
gets the lay up inside. Perkins over shoots. Thorpe with the
pretty drive/fly and the drop in. Pierce misses. Maxwell
misses. McKey to Payton for the lay up. Horry blows the jam.
Sea turnover, Hou throws it away. 18-12 Sea 4:53. Offensive
foul on Kemp. Kemp steals. Kemp travels. Thorpe nails the long
2 (feet on the line). Payton nails the baseliner. Thorpe
misses. McKey misses inside. K Smith nails the long fall away.

jumper. E Johnson misses. K Smith's long jumper rattles in,
out, in, out, and in. McKey gets the put back. Maxwell airballs

2nd Quarter:
Thorpe picks up the loose ball and gets the lay up. Sea
turnover, K Smith runs, drives, and gets the lay up. Askew is
fouled under the basket. 2 of 2. Herrera misses. Pierce spins,
drives, and lays it home. K Smith nails the 3. McMillan takes
it coast to coast for the lay up. Herrera misses. E Johnson
drives for 2. Garland nails the baseline jumper. E Johnson
drains the _long_ 2. McMillan steals. E Johnson misses the 3,

Thorpe. Payton turns, drives, and gets the easy 2. 40-33 Sea
3:44. Garland misses. Pierce misses the 3, Askew misses. Sea
turnover. Brooks running and is fouled driving. 2 of 2. McKey
nails the turn around fall away baseliner. Hou turnover. Payton
misses. Thorpe works, is fouled, and gets the short banker.

Horry who drives for the slam. Payton misses, loose ball and a
jumpball. A T is called on Horry. Pierce makes the gift. Hou

3rd Quarter:
Horry hits the long jumper. Pierce swishes the jumper. Maxwell
swishes the 3. Pierce hits the jumper. Olajuwon hits the
baseliner. Olajuwon blocks. Goaltending is called on Sea.
Payton misses, Payton steals. Hou strips. 2 on 1 and Thorpe
gets the jam. 51-54 Hou 9:07. Pierce misses. Sea rebounds,
Kemp throws it away. Maxwell hits the long 2. Payton gets the
roll off the jumper. Sea steals off good D. Olajuwon blocks, K
Smith drains the 3. McKey misses. Maxwell bricks the 3. Pierce
is fouled driving. 2 of 2. 55-59 Hou 6:38. K Smith sees a
hole, drives, and gets the easy 2. Perkins rattles in the 3.
Lob in to Olajuwon for the easy 2. Pierce misses. Olajuwon
nails the free throw jumper. E Johnson misses the 3. Offensive
foul on Maxwell. McMillan bricks. Olajuwon rattles in the turn
around jumper. Sea misses. Olajuwon misses. Cage gets the tip
in. 60-67 Hou 3:06. Oh my gosh - Maxwell gets the inbounds pass
4 feet behind the 3 point line, doesn't realize there is only 2
sec on the 24 clock, realizes it, throws it up at the buzzer, and
nothing but the bottom of the net! Offensive foul on McKey.
Thorpe gets the put back. Olajuwon blocks. K Smith nails the
pull up. Sea turnover. Kemp blocks and a loose ball foul is
called on Olajuwon. 60-74 Hou 1:10. E Johnson misses. K Smith
nails the 3. Cage hits the baseliner. Maxwell hits the short
fall away. Sea misses. 62-79 Hou. What a one-sided quarter.

4th Quarter:
E Johnson is fouled shooting. 1 of 2. Horry drives for the lay
up. A nice pass from Barros to Payton who has the nice move and
the basket. Thorpe is fouled under the basket. 2 of 2. Barros
throws it away. Horry drives, is fouled, and gets the wild scoop
shot. 65-86 Hou 9:56. Perkins over shoots. Jumpball. Sea
controls. Perkins drains the set shot. Thorpe is fouled by Kemp
- his 5th. 2 of 2. Kemp misses inside. Herrera misses.
Perkins 2 of 2. Maxwell nails the 3. Kemp 2 of 2. Kemp steals.
Hou steals. 3 on 0 and K Smith gets the easy 2. Payton misses.
