Just because Quark scored 25 points in a period will not make him a
superstar. Yes, he was in a 'zone' last night but if he wants to be mentioned
in the same caliber as Jordan he will have to prove he can take over a game
time after time after time instead of picking fights with Air or running his
mouth all the time.
ps: However, give credit where it is due, his performance last night was
reminiscent of previous playoff games of Jordan when he couldn't miss.
It would've been even nicer if Quark could've made some of them on layups
and possibly get 3 point plays. But Oakley or Mason would've nailed him
waist deep in the deck head first and I would've laughed my butt off...

No, but the Reggie Miller & Jenny Craig diet plan should do well.

What? Is this supposed to be funny? OOOooohhhh, biting sarcasm.

Well, some may find it funny, but it's the truth. Bill likes him
because Reggie is a player with all around average skills (except for
shooting) that has become a star in the NBA. Now I like him because
he is the only exciting thing happening in the eastern conference
finals. Wasn't Reggie named to DT2 months ago? Seems like we're the
last ones to catch on...
hwn.
You know, I have a friend who is a BIG, no, HUGE Reggie Miller fan,
and for a long time I couldn't figure it out. My friend (lets call
him Bill) was from the east coast and cheered on Notre Dame, but for
some reason got excited when ever Miller's name is mentioned...
Well, I just couldn't take it any more, so we figured out his thing
The rest of you in America are the victims of a media that undervalues
players of small-market teams. We've known about Reggie for years, and it's
pathetic that he wasn't on the All-NBA team or All-Star team.
He's a pure shooter - and one of the best at it.
He's had complete games where he's been unconscious like that before.
It's just that no one sees or hears of it.

Miller can do this. He DOES do this, but many people don't realize it
because he is not as SEEN as other people. The pacers have a smaller market;
NBC can't make as much money off of them as they can off the magic, bulls,
knicks.
No doubt, Miller is one of the best. We hope he captains his
team to the finals.

Probably the best shooter, but not remarkable at any other facet of the game
until perhaps this year. If he were really great, he could make teams pay
for double-teaming him, right?

Maybe you missed some of the subltey in that game. Maybe you missed
the fact that it was the 5th game of the Conf FInals in an away game
against a team notorious for winning at home and shutting down
perimeter shooters. I guarantee you, Reggie Miller has _never_ had a
game like that before.
