This is really awkward, try to reword. Over punctuation tends to look sloppy

Which of KU's two victories over Indiana last year would you like to whine
about? Maybe it was a pre 92-93 season pasting you are refering to. Let me
know and I will review the tapes. Let me know specific dates, as it is hard
to keep track of all of those W's.
Hurry up, I don't have any time to waste. Have to plant the winter wheat, you

I'd just like to pause to say here that any recipe involving Spam can
be improved by adding an additional tablespoon of salt. Now back to
college hoops...

Ewwwwwww! Maybe from a road-engineering viewpoint for deicing streets with
piecewise Spam, or maybe to pad hoop posts with Spam to prevent brusing
injuries and provide replenishing nutrients for on-the-go players, but...

Spam *is* salty, Orin. Trust me. I *eat* Spam.

Well, we've got five of the trophies here and I'd say in
comparison to them that KU's '88 trophy is tarnished. The Manning
recruiting still stinks and the way that players were taken care of
during Larry Brown's KU career also raises many vapors. But if you
enjoy stink, OK...... you still have the fruits of Larry's labors.

Pinhead eats deviled spam.

I also eat sugar and spice, and everything nice. What does that explain?

The Good But Drained Doctor <U29...@uicvm.uic.edu>:

[doctor:]

Are you kidding? If you can't make fun of your patients, who can you make
fun of? Let's not forget the origin of the "FLK" (Funny Looking Kid).
Of course, I'm not going into psychiatry, so I don't think I'll ever have you
as a patient.

[nurse Lugowski:]

Too obvious. I saw this one coming from 3 lines up. I want my money back,
doctor. And my HMO's money. You could have said euthanesia, for that
topical (har har) effect.

[doctor, witha leer:]

Sorry, but I'm still a rookie. I'm facing a 26 year old Nolan Ryan for the
first time, and I'm more worried about decapitation than actually getting
a hit. At least I fouled a couple off before I struck out.

[Lugowski LPN, with a Marlene Dietrich dinosaur gurgle:]

>>Would Debbie Gibson be considered invasive or merely irresistible or
>>resistible but what the hay?

[doctor, Grouch Marx deadpan:]

>I think that would depend on the wine.

--> A good dry red will go with anything, including a sometimes-blonde
--> like Debbie Gibson.

--> I like Meridian Cabarnet Sauvignon for its distinctive label art. It'll
--> blow your date away, plus give U2 something to actually talk about,
--> and afterwards you got yourself a nice colorful abstract art empty for
--> a memento, unless, that is, your date insists on not parting with it.
--> Definitely worth the sub $15.

[nurse Lugowski, over the laughet of the live RCA studio audience:]

>>Wodka Wyborowa is the medical brand of choice.

[good doctor, immitating Costello:]

>Is that the Polish vodka that has a tree branch in it?

--> No. Wyborowa is the pristine clear stuff, the best or one of the very
--> best vodkas in the world. Consistently made from grain by very careful
--> people who are as passionate about their vodka as Bob Knight is about
--> defense. You are thinking of either Zubrowka, which is named after the
--> grass of which blade is included. The grass is named after European
--> bison which only lives in Poland and which was used in restocking the
--> American bison. Apparently this European bison which likes to live
--> in a primeval forest (there is a postage stamp-sized parcel of it left
--> straddling the Polish/Byelorussian border), loves to chomp on this
--> grass. I don't think the bison gives a hoot about defense, though. If
--> anything it is a motion offense type of customer...

--> Then there is another flavored vodka that has a bit of juniper tree
--> stuck in it to help clear jupiter-infested lands in Poland which are
--> many. It's a major problem. Besides, the stuff tastes yummy. Try it.
--> Goes great with cold spam or roasting polish sausages over campfire.

[nurse Lugowski, killing the audience:]

>>Not for me. Just lacks the proper geometry, and I'll have you know that I
>>was raised in a geometry-sensitive household, doilies, hardwood parket and

>>a brocade curtain on every window...

[the good doctor, affecting drainage and other civilities:]

>These lines are screaming for a follow up, but I'm too drained to think
>very clearly right now. Sorry.

--> Looks like 'nother no-hitter to me.

P.s. ObBasketball. NU is playing an exhibition game, the first one,
against some pushover team that calls itself "the Olympia of
Slovenia". I assume this is a pro club. Can anyone provide
even a made-up scouting report? :) Jazzy? Thanks...

Full game report, including a halftime review of the Healthiest
Student Body in Division One coming up the day after -- Nov. 18.
Extra: Concert report from Bjork's 16th show at Park West/Chicago.
