Possible, but optimistic. Daulton has never hit .273 in his life, I might
note.

>1B: John Kruk (.315, 14 HR, 88 RBI)

Possible, but optimistic again.

>2B: Mickey Morindini (.277, 4 HR, 40 RBI, 20 SB)

These would be career highs for him. By quite a bit. He's hit 5 HR
in 250 G, and 53 RBI in the same period, and 24 career SB. And a .257
lifetime BA. He's 27, and not likely to show such sudden improvement.

>SS: Kim Batiste/ (.245, 1 HR, 22 RBI)
> Juan Bell (.209, 0 HR, 16 RBI)

These are reasonable.

>3B: David Hollins (.283, 30 HR, 107 RBI)

Way optimistic. Conceivable.

>LF: Milt Thompson/lh (.307, 5 HR, 32 RBI, 22 SB)
> Pete Incaviglia/rh(.249, 16 HR, 58 RBI)

When's Inky going to get the at-bats to hit 16 HR and 58 RBI platooning?
I'm skeptical that Thompson will match his career highs at the age of 34.

>CF: Lenny Dykstra (.330, 11 HR, 54 RBI, 40 SB)

Way way optimistic. I doubt Dykstra will show career highs in BA,
HR, and SB at the age of 30.

>RF: Wes Chamberlain (.284, 24 HR, 92 RBI)

This is plain fantasyland.

>UTILITY GUY (2B, SS, 3B, OF):
>Mariano Duncan (.280, 10 HR, 47 RBI, 38 DOUBLES, 22 SB)

Very doubtful.

Okay, so far, the Phils are relying on having eight career years from their
players. Let's look at the pitching.

>PITCHING:

>Starters:
>1) Terry Mulholland (16-9 3.11 ERA)

Won't happen.

>2) Curt Schilling (18-8 2.42 ERA)

Could happen. If he doesn't hurt his arm from being overused. He pitched
135 innings in his last 17 starts, but they were great starts. How could
Houston have dumped him?

>3) Danny Jackson (14-10 3.38 ERA)

Within the realm of possibility, though it would be the first time in five
years.

>4) Ben Rivera (13-7 3.65 ERA)

Possible.

>5) Tommy Greene (13-9 3.20 ERA)

Another career year.

Murph's gone bye-bye.

I think the only Phillies in effect here are Philly Blunts. Of course, if this
all becomes true, I'll be the first to smoke one myself.
