Trailing 5-3 and down to their final three outs, possibly of the season, the
Highlanders erupted for three runs in the top of the ninth to take a 6-5 win
over Cal Poly. Michael Hur provided the game-tying and go-ahead runs with a
one-out single through the right side of the infield scoring Carl Uhl and
Trevor Hairgrove.

UC Riverside's record is now 33-20, 12-12 in the Big West, and they await
the decision of the NCAA selection committee Monday at 9:30 am PT to learn
if they will be packing their bags come tournament time.
