11-1 Tech faced 11-1 Mercer Tuesday night and overcame an early lead by the Bears to win 16-9. About 970 (est attendance) saw the Jackets improve to 12-1, retaining (for the moment) their #18 national ranking. Sam Clay picked up the win in relief.

Off to Blacksburg this weekend to face the "Other Tech" for a 3 game ACC road set.
