Damn it posted before I was finished with my thoughts! Lets see where
was I at?

Nothing but a transient DZ bum, no loyalty to any one DZ------You
expect to be taken seriously? Yeah I know, what you do is common for
beginners & some get in a rut and never rise higher but some
do.....The ones with some self respect go on to get USPA FAA & Tandem
ratings build portfolio, become a asset to the sport----make more
money BTW. OK heres a thought------New designation "Chump Jumper."
Yeah thats a guy like you kid. Hanging around the DZ's not paying his
way or teaching----videoing for jump tickets & chump change, trying to
get by on personality...Yep you are a Chump Jumper boy...Get with the
program you young Chump!

I can only hope no other Chump Jumpers are waiting to lift off and
going um like:
"my pin, my pin, oh my god my pin might be loose!" You are scrounging
jump
tickets, beer and burgers----DON'T BOTHER THE PAYING CUSTOMERS with
your complex. Otherwise, hope you had a good weekend, just think about
what I'm pointing out here. CHUMP JUMPER ya ya yeah yeah Jerry K is a
Chump
Jumping fool, thinks he's hot shit----single facet? No that makes him
a narrow shit. heh 0~;)P

Yeah thats about the way I felt, after I retired and the Mega ways
began, you know those 300 ways Roger started up at SDC and people
started dieing, specially
Sandy I was even more anti-big way. Thinking "FOR WHAT? I'll tell you
what,
Playing to young ego's just to pump up the cash flow. Sacrificing
lives for money
and fame. Don't tell me: "Well they didn't have to show up!" Addicted
people carrying
big ego burdens are at the mercy of dealers and other addicts. Thats
how you
remain at the Chump Change Jumper level.....Sucking that DZO ass and
playing

carrying. Improve
your qualifications with some endorsements and I might leave you
alone. You see
I hardly ever bother the JM's. Ole Lodi Mike and a few others has been
making their primary living off skydiving for decades. Thats O.K. with
me, he's well qualified, taught
a lot of skydivers over the years and pretty well remains loyal to one
DZ. You on the other hand are just a chinchy chump jumper with nothing
but a camera and big ego.
Not doing much more than draining chump change and driving up costs. A
transient
bum, draining the sport, taking and rarely giving. People like you
will eventually kill
or miniaturize the sport, you give it a scruffy unprofessional look
kid.

Wow thought you had folded your tent and went elsewhere to escape the
astute
old commentator ya Chump Change jumper...Glad some people never learn.
It gives
me great pleasure to help motivate you, perhaps improving the sport by
improving
vain little attitudes. Another perk is I can look into a dorks feeble
money
driven mind. Well maybe not money driven------You are just cheap,
showing up
at the DZ expecting your jumps to be paid for like you do. You don't
need the money either do you? One day when their are more of your type
than paying recreation
jumpers------the sport will just fade away. If I die before that time
and most likely I will,
it will be nice. Watching ego driven under achievers kill the goose
that laid a Golden Egg would break my old heart. Well till then I
guess you are owned "Live with it!" ;-/

Nevermind that it was a 246 way, dummy.

Their reasons are their own and none of your business - especially
since you don't jump, don't go to dropzones, don't skydive, and are a
busted liar concerning your own forays with larger formations - also a

Cut the rhetorical bullshit, Jinnie - record attempts are organized
for the jumpers wanting to work towards a, at that point, unattained
goal, and with ferry fees, and the increaed demands on infrastructure,
as well as providing for support, just simply advertising to get more
tandems in is a way better and efficient mode to "pump up the cash
flow."

>Sacrificing

Riiiight, it's the ~dropzone~ which killed Sandy - premeditated even,
twoars the purpose of "money and fame," eh?

>Don't tell me: "Well they didn't have to show up!"

Okay - I won't tell you - but's it is still the most relevant point as
a counter to your retarded assertion assigning reasons for a fatality
(and the obvious fear you're projecting) to anyone other than the
skydivers in the air.

>Addicted
>people carrying

Cut that rhetorical crap, while you're at it, dummy. At least none of
these "addicts" were so addicted as to lie in this forum about their
past bigway "experience."

>Thats

While you remain forever on the outer periphery of the sidelines, as

Gee, I bothering someone yet? Yo, dummy - the dzo is in many cases
just another skydiver - he opens his parachute like everybody else -
and who permits skydivers to jump into his property, out of his
airplane and piloted by the people he hires.

>Must be hard to pull off with the ego you are

Nevermind that this "ego" you're wailing about is solely realized by
you because it doesn't stroke yours.

So, dummy - who's "Sucking ass and playing to peoples ego's," now?

>You on the other hand are just a chinchy chump jumper

Current, too.

>with nothing but a camera and big ego.

Don't forget, and it's not a whole lot, something like ten-times the
number of jumps, airtime, ect, than you ever managed to squeak out
before you crashed your dumb ass out of skydiving.

>Not doing much more than draining chump change and driving up costs.

So, if it is "chump change" being "drained," explain how this is
significant in driving up "costs." Further - If a group of skydivers
are able to take, say, a video of their skydive and learn more over
time paying for less skydives than they would have without, say, a
video of their skydive, explain this how theoretical less number of
jumps is "driving up costs?

Right and you were positively mewing for attention about it, weren't

I'm thinking you get off to the idea that you can get people to call
you, among other things, a proven liar and a hypocrite by lying and
being a hypocrite.

> perhaps improving the sport by
>improving
>vain little attitudes.

So, for example, when I take your words saying you were on a 48way and
also other words of yours saying you only saw it from the ground,
illustrating in this case that you're either a liar or an idiot (or
both), this is an example of a "vain little attitude?"

>Another perk is I can look into a dorks feeble

Sure beats skydiving, eh?

>Well maybe not money driven------You are just cheap,
>showing up

And you get this from what? Because I might be able to fly a camera?

>You don't

Since high-end camera equipment, maintenance, upgrades, and the jumps
put in to learn how to fly it consistently are all free, I guess not,
eh?

>One day when their are more of your type
>than paying recreation
>jumpers------the sport will just fade away.

Ya know, you've been moaning and groaing about the sport "fading
away," the "death of the sport," the "ruining" of the sport, ect., ad
naseam, for a good long time now - you'd think it woulda happened by
now, as shrill as you are about it. The reality is, the more people
who can fly camera the better - there are never enough.

>If I die before that time
>and most likely I will,
>it will be nice.

Oh, you martyr, you. Quit your whining.

>Watching ego driven under achievers kill the goose
>that laid a Golden Egg would break my old heart.

That's the thing - you're not watching. You're imagining. You don't
go to dropzones and haven't, except for maybe a couple isolated
exceptions in over ten years. Youre not watching shit, and what it
comes down to is you got this idea it's all gone to hell because those
that still are, if they bother to give you any attention at all,
aren't buying into your pretenses and your bullshit - and they ain't
stroking your ego - that's about as close as it comes, and the actual
realities and your words confirm it. Basically, it's sour grapes on
your part. You can't jump, so it's easier to denigrate what you can
no longer participate in than it is to accept your own shortcomings
which lead directly to you not being able to jump.

>Well till then I
>guess you are owned "Live with it!"

Shit, dummy - I'm not the one who was starting threads and making
repetitive posts crying out for attention - that was all you.
Skydiving goes on without your participation - "Live with it!"

I wouldn't call a 42 way a big way by todays standards, besides did I
say the grip was held long enough to qualify by USPA rules or that
every body was in?

Back in the late 1940's when I was a pre teen, you know what is called
the wonder years, we had a chance to go back east----went to a Yankee
ball game and they had
these bleachers in the out field called a couple of things "bums row"
and also the "peanut gallery." Cheap seats and all of these old guys
were setting out there
in those bleachers hurling insults at the players on the field.
Dandiest thing I ever saw. It was halarious....not only the old guys
but the players reaction to them.
Thats what I do on wreck Jerry, give raspberry's from the bleachers,
yup just sitting out here in the bleachers eating peanuts, drinking
green bottle beer & coaching my old ass off kid! CAN'T YOU DIG IT?

Good story Snuf, but you need to remember that most things, taunts
especially, are usually funny once, and rarely twice, and never dozens
of times. You need to find (or make up) something new on Jerry.

Not trying to be funny, just keeping pressure on a self centered
kid......Maybe all this will click one day and he will begin to think
right. Jerry lacks life experience and fast approaching 70 I have
plenty so he gets to hear what the days before he was born were like.
You know back when America was turning out normal kids and gas was 29
cents a gallon, if you could get it......before the Boomer's. What I
do with Jerry the Navy called squaring away the boots <in his case

Which begs the question - who are the brain police? And, umm - why
are you so worried and knotted up over what people "think?"

>Jerry lacks life experience and fast approaching 70 I have

Got news for ya, dummy - fans still yell at ballplayers and most of
the time the players ignore it and focus on playing. But one of the
funniest things I've seen at the ballpark was a fan giving some player
shit, telling him he sucked, ect., and the ballplayer walked over to
the rail (it was during a pitching change) and started to converse
with the fan - asking him pointed questions (no shit) - and sticking
to the point. The fan turned red, tried to change the subject, the
ballplayer stuck to the point and wanted to know where the fan was
coming from - didn't give him an inch - which was funny becase all the
fan could do was sputter and try to change the subject and mouth some
obvious lie about "once playing ball" and then yelling he was gonna
strike out. The fans around the guy were laughing at him - he was so
stupid and he'd clearly stepped in it - didn't expect the ballplayer
to actually confront the guy. Griffey Jr., if anyone's wondering. He
hit a double.

That some pretty strange "squaring away," you got going, dummy - what
with getting busted in lies, all that crabwakling, and contradicting
yourself all the time. Numerous examples, too. Is this one of those
"squaring away" things where the petty sticks his head deep into the
head and emerges covered in brown so to help "square away" people so
they don't shove their face into the head themselves?

#1 Skydiving is about the jump and free fall, they should be jumping
not wasting money on a chump like you

#2 If the DZO isn't getting a lot of students or Tandems he needs
those qualified jumpers jumping, packing as many as he or she can on
every load to keep cost down,
overhead is steep around a DZ,....And here you are trying to siphon
money off the DZ
and put it in your pocket by wanting to use the facility's for free to
hawk your business, bet you want your ticket subsidized to you young
scoundrel Thats how you cost the other skydivers more money. You don't

need the money either do you?

You are cheap and just like to feel you are getting it over on the

See there you go....back before you were born many of the Major parks
back east and up North had bleachers out in the field along the foul
lines all the way to the outfield boundary lines, being exposed to the
elements seats there were cheap so old retired codgers and other
riffraff used to fill them up, it was called bum's row and sometimes
the peanut gallery.....A lot of shall we say comments came from those
seats in the form of raspberry's and shit being thrown on the field
heh heh. Ahhhh the ignorance of youth....You can't only not spell, you
didn't live in historical times either.....Yet you think you know
everything! YOUNG IDIOT!

Your elders Chump and because I really loved the sport as flawed as it
was.
Quite a few young bums seemed to have their hands out all the time----
that inhibits any DZ zen going on. Some DZ's were like used car lots,
people selling shit off their tail gates or trying to hustle money by
selling talent they didn't have yet or shit that wasn't needed at the
moment. DZO's need to get a handle on the transient bums. Go like, if
your not regular staff----don't try to sell shit here friend, all
transactions go through the DZ, we want to make sure our customers are
getting their moneys worth. And the prices are posted! A lot of the
better twin/T DZ's in the mid 90's put on free organized loads for the
newbies hosted by JM's to keep their otters packed. They weren't going
to score many formation points but at least someone was giving them
organized practice on exit and formation skills...one or two loads a
weekend would be a extra dollar to pay for a Video Geeks slot then
shown to the group. Thats O.K. the Video Geeks were regulars if not
staff. It kept ripping off or over charging the Novices down. I did
the same on my Zoo's from about 200 jumps on but not every DZ would
let me put a load of newbies out on ZOO, They were worried about
tracking discipline with that many just off student status &
unlicensed types. I respected that----even though I never killed any,
just got a few of the smaller skydivers banged up. My philosophy-----

He should have been sent down to the minors to learn Fan P.R., fans
are paying customers, they paid quit a bit of a ball players salary
for years, now that the Major League games are televised advertising
has taken over the lions share...Fans know what they like and want to
have a say, specially big city Yankee's. What you do in a case like
that is say "Yes Sir or Mam" then go ahead and play it like you want.
First thing I did after returning stateside after a decade overseas
was go to Candlestick Park and watch a game. We were setting on the
third base line bottom row only 10 or 15 foot from the players and
already pretty well shit faced before we arrived because we had been
in bars looking for chicks. 3 sailors.....Me a dog handler and a
sniper both 3rd class's. I pulled them off a work detail at NRC Long
Beach. The dog handler was really fucked up in the head. He had been
shot in the back by a teenage Marine one night while his dog was
working point in Vietnam----plus he had to leave his K9 behind when
the Medevacked him. Just getting him through the gate without a smart
Aleck Marine gate guard getting clocked was a major operation. The
sniper was more like me---calm, cool & collected with a latent meaness
just below the surface behind a smile. Anyway, we are setting there
shit faced...not saying anything and the base ball players kept
picking at us, really talking it up from the time they hit the field
to warm up. Then the third baseman and shortstops from both teams
fucked with us during the whole game....Going HEY SAILOR, YOU AWAKE?
WHATS UP, YOU CAN'T GET A WOMAN? HAVE TO DATE EACH OTHER!
THIS IS BASEBALL NOT HORSESHOES.....PAY ATTENTION Well when we finally
started heckling them back a little they seemed happy. Just part of
the game I reckon.
I think some of them like the fans yelling at them....BTW we got
escorted out of the park before the game ended----seems we were
setting on the wrong side of the stadium for the side we were rooting
for and of course we had bought marked plastic helmets with the
California's team logo on it. People setting a few rows up started
throwing beer cups & half eaten hot dogs at us cuz we were going He's
blind! no batter/no hitter every time the eastern team came up to
bat...And were going "THROW FULL ONES ASSHOLE OR WE WILL COME UP THERE
AND TAKE THEM AWAY FROM YOU YANKEE SUMBITCHS! HAHAHAHA Shit we ended
up heckling fore and aft by the time that game started. To the ball
parks credit, they offered us seats behind home plate if we would
move. (course we had just got back from in country tours of Vietnam
and had a wheel barrel full of medals between the three of us "No
fucking way Jose, were going to straighten these Youse people out!"
Had a ball, thanks to the players starting shit then egging it on!

Why do you care so much about how other people spend their money, and
further, if a skydiver or skydivers want some sort of record of their
skydive for review and get it, how is that a waste of money?

>
>#2 If the DZO isn't getting a lot of students or Tandems he needs

Explain how the addition of another jumper, say - someone flying a
camera - isn't contributing towards the idea of "packing as many as he
or she can on every load to keep cost down," dummy.

>overhead is steep around a DZ,....And here you are trying to siphon

Gee, before you started crabwalking it over to some sort of dz
business impact, you were wailing about about, how's it go, "they
should be jumping not wasting money."

>bet you want your ticket subsidized to you young
>scoundrel

If a camera flyer is jumping towards a specific, requested by the
people they're potentially shooting purpose, and if it's for a series
of jumps, as opposed to a one-off, it's ticket plus a pre-agreed upon
amount of compensation, usually per jump, in most circumstances. Of
course, this sort of arrangement pre-dates you in skydiving and if,
say, the camera doesn't work or the cameraflying sucks, there's no
compensation - and this sort of arrangement also pre-dates you in
skydiving.

>Thats how you cost the other skydivers more money.

But, you were called it "chump - change," earlier which seems hardly
significant.

>You don't
>need the money either do you?

Since cameras, specialized gear, upgrades, repairs, as well as the
lift-tickets learning how to fly a camera in whatever venue
consistantly are all free, naw, not at all.

>You are cheap and just like to feel you are getting it over on the
>next guy

Gee, I bothering some dummy, yet? That's right - group of skydvers
ask someone if they're available all weekend or all season so they can
have vid of their jumps for whateve reason, and this is simply an
example of how someone would have got "it over on the next guy,"
right?

>a matter of fact.

That's right - I was shooting skydiving before I ever skydived. It
was really just a simple matter of taking high-end, commercial grade
broadcast and field production equipment - betacams, studio rigs, and
maybe a satellite truck and with a little duct-tape and soder
converting into something I could mount on a helmet - nevermind taking
some sort of past experience, perhaps standing behind cameras or maybe
even running around with one on my shoulder, nevermind operating out
of some sort of control room, and instantly converting all that into
keeping hammer-hammer in frame on the launch.

> For one of Murdock's organizations----you probably
>purloined the gear from work to start

Why would I do that when all that studio and field gear I had access
to was all perfectly suited for skydiving in the first place, right? I
mean, I could just borrow it and put it back, couldn't I?

Sour grapes you got, Jinnie - I'm not buying into your stupid lines of
shit and am either ridiculing or rendering every stupid assertion you
make for the crap that it is - you sure seem to be concerned with
money, these days - they only bringing you jello two times a week,
now? Down to half-rations on the rice pudding?

Whoaaaaaaa boy, nothing has ever been proved one way or the other. I
tell some big sea stories thats for sure. Sea stories AND Skydiving
stories are like fishing stories.
They are entertainment and should be taken with a grain of salt. I am
a obtuse old man preferring to keep Type A anal retentive mad as hell
and guessing. Thats sport to me. Don't give a shit what people think
about me.....didn't when I was a active skydiver and damn sure don't
now that I'm out of the sport. Chuck has never been able to prove who
I actually am so he just pretended he had the goods on me from the
military and threw false accusations. It like to drove him crazy
trying to prove I was a black and just a ships cook. I LIVE FOR THAT!
A Marine chewing his own leg off over senior sailors sea stories <eg>
You spend quite a lot of time around one of my old home DZ's and ask
about me so were putting out hearsay and accusations also. I thought
you had the inside scoop for a while. Then I found out you were
talking to kids who were never on a load with me in their life or even
skydiving at the time. You kept mentioning Laird and I did piss Laird
senior off quite a lot because of my wild style, so I checked the DZ
and the laird you were talking to was not Laird senior but one of his
kids or grand kids. I had been gone quite a while by then. Glad I
still have a Bad old Man reputation around the old stomping grounds
that many years later and people still talk about me----that makes me
a legend doesn't it? Thanks for keeping the Boogie man legend alive
Jerry heh heh. As far as you digging in the archives----I love it.
Going like ha fucking ha ha have the boy buried in the archives
slaving away again. My hope is one day you will wake up thinking like
me from reading so many of my posts. To sweet to be true---- Call me a
slick old man younster and thank the lord I took a interest in owning
you! 0~;-*

examples of this "around 60" I.Q. busting you left and right when you

More news for you, dummy - ballparks still have cheap seats out past
first and third along the foul lines and stretching between the foul
poles and in many parks, these seats are more exposed to the elements.
More news - comments and raspberries can come from any part of the
park - it isn't just reserved for whatever mantle of pretense by
ballpark location you're adopting - so I would say, just because you
may have sat in some cheap seats at a ballpark, once upon a time, and
heard people yell shit at ballplayers, this isn't what I would call a
really strong example of living in "historical times." You misspelled
the plural of raspberry, btw, dummy.

Well things are expensive....if they are getting out of the sport and
want film for some reason sure---go ahead but if their in for the long
haul put the money in beer, gear and jump tickets. You can get free
video from jumpers on your own level, some kid is always mounting a
camera and wanting to practice keeping the formation in a sight ring
for free and check your body flight flaws..Why put out hard cash for a
tramp? Buy a friend a beer. I might seem mean to younger skydivers but
I'm trying to ease them through whats become a break the bank sport
with all you non registered video bums circling around like buzzards
trying to hustle what the market will bare....So see I'm really

Are you referring to the " ripping off or over charging the Novices,"

referring to it going on now - which if you are referring to now is
purely imagination on your part since you don't go to dz's.

Actually, the record shows that if they were even aware of the dumb
shit you were attempting, they were ambivalent about it until after
the jump - at which point you got shut down.

Respect? Sure, just as long as you could lob some names at 'em once

Could this be an example of dz leadership? People getting banged up

Naw, I see ballplayers talk to fans all the time and in this case,
Griffey was being polite, smiling - just asking questions and sticking
to the point. The fans around that dummy who was yelling and saying
shit he couldn't back up and trying to change the subject were loving

Yo, dummy - advertising products to fans has been a part of baseball
(and other sports) since the stadiums were built, if not before, and
do you wonder if maybe the first televised baseball game - back in
1939 - might have had a little advertising?

allowed to converse with fans.

That how I've become your hero without you realizing it. You know you
love it bitch
Not being able to attain my level of charm and wisdom you try pulling
me down to your level so you can pretend to be a hip intellectual and
sly Witt like me. Won't work kid because you care too much about what
people think of you

See what I mean? You are even beginning to sound like me HAW HAW HAW

Someone said emulation is the most sincere form of flatery....Now work
on funneling through the center of a formation, taking selected
targets out and/or needling high strung people around the DZ who
think their shit don't stink and you will be me......Oh I forgot, you
are high strung and believe you shit doesn't stink----forget about it.

Nope, just had to shorten the size of the way.....They were right you
should have seen the ground video of the break off on one 17 way. You
ever see sidewinder missle changing directions? Their contrail looks

About the way, they were raving about novices jumping Zoo formations
beyond their capability----Got to learn sometime was my attitude and
it did teach good air survival skills......if you weren't killed that
is cackle cackle

Yep, they even trade insults with bums row....I wouldn't, the peanut

Go Go and Redneck bars inland, we worked our way up from Long Beach in
a rental car....Never did make it into San Francisco proper. I had a
hangout on the square down by by the Peppermint Twist called the
Palace, used to date a go go dancer from Sweden who worked there when
at T.I. going to school in the early 60's....It was a whore hangout
also but our trip to Candlestick park was in 1970 and we weren't in
the mood to hire whores....Kind of a Last Fandango before getting out
of the Navy. All three of us came out of Vietnam proper and were
hanging it up. The two P.O. 3's hung with me because I had enough rank
to walk out to morning muster and pull them out formation no questions
asked...The station E-5's & E-6's mustering morning work details
weren't about to give a scared up salty old bastard like me any shit.
I'd point and say "Those two!" "You got it Chief!" Then we would be on
liberty by 8:30 or 9am If the dog handler didn't punch out a Marine
gate guard on the way out that is. I still wonder if that boy made it
in the free world without a Senior Petty Officer around to tell him
what to do.....He had that PTSD shit bad. The boy would listen to me
and the Sniper though. I took to jumping on Marine ass everytime I
went through the gate in either direction. They see us coming and they
would step out and wave us on through before we reached the gate run
back in and shut the guard post door then try to pretend they were
busy with post business. I had them Shore duty Marines stump broke.
You would have thought I was a Master Gunny they were so afraid of my
Crow and ribbons! 0~;)

to get somebody else to pay for your jumps, equipment and
miscellaneous expenses. You are not a skydiver just a scheming

Hey Jerry...

Luminous is organizing "Big Ways or Smaller" next Saturday (5/19) at SDH.
Don't know if he's got camera lined up or not, but you might want to drop
him a line. Don't know how big we'll be, but if he gets a decent
response, video is always a great way to post-dive the jumps. Of course,
compensation is negotiable...

Glad Chump Jumper hasn't totally punked Larry out yet. That
compensation part bothers me though, each diver chipping in a buck or
two to buy the Chump a ticket depending on the size of those
formations is O.K. He needs to give back and not ask for more than
that though after all these years of trying to charge what the market
will bare, even in the beginning before he was that experienced. I'm
trying to teach the boy some good old fashioned ethics over
here.....something that usually comes up short in the sport. Among
shall we say the establishment people wanting a piece of the
pie....Anything on the up and up I'm all for but Jerry's been under
investigation for a long time, this doesn't mean he's guilty of
anything-----Just a person of interest. You can't divert my attention
or pull me off him whoever you are, Larry can't even get me off him
and Larry I liked.... too many unanswered questions. A web page years
ago with dummied up information on it----still a freelance? A couple
of thousand jumps by now and no Coaching or JM endorsement? Only
vanity & money generating shit like the Pro and doing Video?
Somethings wrong with that picture. I will be on his ass till he rolls
over.and gets right....A disappointed old bull dog ;-/

Actually, it just comes down to not suffering dummies gladly. You

Naw, I just think it's funny how you, while in the process of saying
someone can't spell, misspell something yourself. But, on the note of
one trying to "sound" like the other, there was a time, not too long
ago, when you were affecting some sort of quaint typewritten accent
which has seemed to, over time, gone by the wayside - guess it might
mean you're trying to sound like me. Will wonders never cease.

You forgot the the bit about not practicing on the ground what is

Oh, woe- to think what I'm missing - not skydiving with only a tenuous
connection to skydiving via an electronic newsgroup. Reduced I am to
not lying, not contradicting myself, not being a big, fat hypocrite,
and not getting busted for it all the time - it just ain't fair! Thank

Well, dummy - since we're talking "ifs" here - what "if" some group
wants consistent video? I'm not saying "some kid mounting a

camera and wanting to practice keeping the formation in a sight ring"

isn't actually guarranteed to be inconsistent and if they want to do
with that, great - that's how I learned. Just the same, what "if"
they want consistency - like in a hardcore, 30 jump weekend or even a
lazy six in a day or perhaps even in a meet? The choice they make,
nevermind you having no control over it, is none of your business, or
anyone else's for that matter..

>Why put out hard cash for a
>tramp?

Because this "tramp" might be a known quantity which past experience
perhaps might have taught the people with the hard cash that it's a
worthwhile investment to ensure whatever it is they're looking for.

>Buy a friend a beer. I might seem mean to younger skydivers but
>I'm trying to ease them through whats become a break the bank sport
>with all you non registered video bums circling around like buzzards

Actually, it's pretty much the opposite - skydivers find camerageeks -
usually at the beginning of the season or at the end of the previous
season if they're planning another season. Sometimes at the beginning
of the day if they haven't organized enough to get one earlier in the
week for the day. The ones "circling around like buzzards," are the
ones making a living out of it and are usually and primarily detailed
to shoot the students - a lot more money in that than shooting
anything else in skydiving.

>..So see I'm really
>looking after their stupid young butts, can't help it if my manner is
>a little to gruff for main streamers

Gruff AKA asinine. Jumpers who want video, other than something
special than like a sunset or an SCR or something like that are
usually training or competing and making a number of consequitive
jumps and want to get as much as they can for that investment. Many
determine that consistent video will help them towards that goal - and
are willing to pay for it. But, that's no good, according to you,
because groups which are training or competing should be using someone
who is learning and who will do it for free - nevermind their goals at
the outset. It's their goals and their deciision, ass.

so, it's a different set of meal on wheels volunteers bring the grub

No, because you said, "DZO's need to get a handle on the transient
bums," of course - pay attention. Speaking of helmets - the helmet of
Art's you say you have - the one you wore on that last jump - I wore
it before you.

Nevermind that there was no "dummied up" informtion on it - as has
been pointed out and proven, pretty much as often as you've gargled
this dumb ass assertion.

more than 2K, btw) who don't have the coach or JM ticket.

What's "wrong," is you just don't like having to eat the shit you spew
when it gets served back in your face. Plus, the sour grapes aspect
of it all. Easier to paint skydiving and skydivers as less than the
sum of its whole than to accept the reality of your own
non-participation and the reasons behind this circumstance. Further,
how are you ever going to measure where someone had got "right" by
words on the usenet. Need to get to where the rubber hits the road to
take the measure, dummy. Until then, you're just an armchair
quarterback who wasn't smart enough to learn how to remain on the
field long enough to get a clue. The first clue is understanding that
when you open your hole and spew undeniable crap - someone, especially
on a public forum, is going to testify to how brown it is and how much
it smells - no matter how you spin it for a rose.

Which is an interesting take, or hobby, to "live for" what you can
only guess. If there's not enough reality to serve the purpose,
you're perfectly happy to substitute imagination in its place.

>A Marine chewing his own leg off over senior sailors sea stories <eg>

Naw, he was just curious enough to get the goods after spotting some
of the hangar-sized holes in some of your stories - and the other
hangar sized holes trying to patch the original holes - simple as
that. What has you crabwalking about the subject is that he hasn't
released the record - but you're not sure who else might have seen it,
are you?

>You spend quite a lot of time around one of my old home DZ's and ask

No, I don't "ask about" you at all. A good while back, before the
mutually assured killfile was as evident, random skydivers who read
the early iterrations of this crap would come find me and tell me
stories.

No, I think the number of people I've guzzled beer with who jumped
here in Texas during the short period of time you were jumping is just
a bit more extensive than trying to relegate it to "kids who were

never on a load with me in their life or even skydiving at the time."

I kept mentioning? Since when does mentioning Laird twice, once in

No, Laird is Laird. His son, who is not named Laird, is not Laird.
Back in 2002 and 2004, those two times I've actually mentioned Laird
in here, Laird was clearly identified as Laird, dummy.

>I had been gone quite a while by then. Glad I

Actually, no one's come up to me and regaled me with the standard
entirely believable "Jinnie was an idiot" story in several years
because, you see, not too many people are reading this newsgroup and
if they are, you or me or both have already been killfiled. Works for
me.

>-that makes me
>a legend doesn't it?

In your own mind, absolutely. You have been for years.

>Thanks for keeping the Boogie man legend alive

No, it's all you, Jinnie - the stories about idiots illustrating the
assignation tend to last long since they're usually amusing in a punch
and judy and it's funny because it didn't happen to me, kind of way.

>Jerry heh heh. As far as you digging in the archives----I love it.

Buried? Just a matter of remembering something you said which
contradicts what you are saying - typing in some keywords, and presto
- instant perspective. Google is really pretty fucking simple.

>My hope is one day you will wake up thinking like

Keep on dreaming, Jinnie - you're just a dumbass troll, gargling for

Nope its annalist alright

They have my signature in their log book? Come on you know the drill.
No Video or pictures, No logbook signed by a second party-------It
didn't happen

My statement holds true, no skydiver wants to admit they don't know
gossip on someone they will make a story up if nothing else to give
jumping with them a sense of danger..They want to be part of the
legend you see......Goes with the territory.

Well I looked at the picture on that web page and its not the same
Laird----The real one was a Corporate pilot. First met him at SPX in
League City Texas in 1990 or 91, recognized right away he had a
hemorrhoid problem! ;)

Me to.....Expected though--skydivers only need a 60 sec a few minutes
of attention span if you throw in landings. You down there in the
archives slaving away
for hours really empress's me kid.

Yeah.....Jerry's hero and a picture of your ideal sailor hahahaha

Not every Marine.....I mostly left FMF types alone having served
around them the first 3 or 4 years after leaving boot camp, watching
them suffer. I liked to hassle what I called shore duty Marines and
the REMF's we called City Marines up around DaNang...What the hell,
chasing me when I came to town gave III-MAF M.P.'s something to do
besides watch movies and jerk each other off.

> or that you killed so many North Vietnamese Army Soldiers that

Nah the USMC helped them out by making every stupid move in the "how
not to fuck up in a guerrilla war" manual..The Corps is not designed
to fight with finesse----they are shock troops. Co Vans were the
counter insurgery experts. Get the locals killed, don't waste American
blood was our motto.

Nope wrong side of town, same old story when you are dealing with
software and the cheaper skip tracers.... Garbage in garbage out....If
it were not so, you would have it splattered all over the Internet and
bookmarked...I was waiting with anticipation to see what sailor you
pulled up, if I liked his record----black or not I was going to claim
it. If not I'd just say keep fishing Gomer----Had plans to keep you
busy wasting your time and money on the search for years. Look how I
keep Jerry buried down in the archives---Now is that leadership or
what? Dunno how you messed that one up unless you transposed the
address numbers, must be your medication. 0~;)P

Where is the documentation to back your accusations? Here's what I
think.
You are like RL.....She's always making wild claims men are molesting
her.
One time.....maybe but after the third or forth time, without
supporting evidence
you begin to realize we are dealing with a neurotic woman expressing
her secret desires. I mean where are you going to find 4 desperate
men in the world willing to molest a flabby middle aged woman?
HAHAHAHAHAHA You I liken into her Chuck. Just a flabby middle aged
neurotic Marine with no sea stories, just a sailor he's
jealous of. 0~;-)

Not sure - I think he was jumping before you ever made a skydive and
still can - he might be too busy to play with you.

The word predates your time in skydiving and even you, for that
matter. Just the same, assigning the word some name, description, or
other, doesn't change how apt the word is in describing your spew.

This was high school in, ummm - California?

Convoluted words like convoluted? Blather predates that word as well.

So, were you Archie or Jughead in those halcyon days of California
middle schooling? Wait, my bad - you're more of a Betty and Veronica.

Snit? Blather also predates that prissy word.

Whoa wishing death on me before I reach 100 huh?.....hummmm I misread
that as "you totally not needing my permission anymore". But then
again I'm not scared----Once dead and my ash's are spread by the Navy

Hard to say....It could have been a friend or neighbor address, I have
been tricky and untrusting since Vietnam...walked around for 13 months
surrounded by indigenous personnel with $5,000. in gold on my head.
Dead or alive as did most of the more effective Co Vans. Shit like
that causes you to cover your trail for a life time, sometimes
unconciusly....Not to mention the training which was brutal by todays
standards may have made me wary. Not to mention the IIIMAF Provost had
a arrest and hold order out, MACV and the Navy kept moving me around
the last few months while CINCPACFLT fought it out with the Marine
Generals who thought the Corps Law Enforcement Arm had been
molested.....sometimes I'd be right under the Marines noses but what
the fuck...most Field Marines were not pro-M.P. anyway hahahahahaha

Celebrity? Nah it was just part of the job----many Co Vans carried the
same burden.
BUT
I have a suspicion that some Marines from the 5th or 7th shot at the
Sampan I was riding if not me....A guy standing beside me went down
with a slug in the leg....later we got word the Field Hospital dug a
M16 round out of him. I ain't saying for sure it was U.S. Marines
because the enemy picked up U.S. Weapons off our dead once in a while.
Made a hell of a sea story to aggravate any Marine I met at the water
points though----Not to mention our Intel Officer a Marine Mustang
Captain, he got tired real quick of the chortling about the Corps
graduating blind Marines every time I saw him. He started hollering
"HELL YEAH THEIR SHOOTING AT YOU - YOU STUPID SQUID....BECAUSE YOU
WON'T QUIT TELLING SEA STORIES!!!" no shit his mustache was bristling
he was so tired of my Sea Stories & jokes about the Corps
---Told him once. "No disrespect meant sir, their just like Aggie

Yeah? People in the Navy talked blanket party's all the time but they
were illegal and I never saw one go down in over 10 years of
service....Maybe because sailors sleep in cramped conditions and work
in close spaces 24/7 their more function specific on cleanliness. A
shower party consists of a forced shower with lye soap and a scrubbing
with stiff bristle brush's like we used on deck by 3 or 4 other
offended sailors on the scrounge.....This is old Navy Chuck, before
you joined the green machine. We the ships crew slept in pipe rack
type bunks stacked 3 and 4 high, sometimes 2 and 3 across in the
middle of a berthing compartment, chaining them up during working
hours. Steel box's welded to the deck below the bottom bunk was our
locker. You had to roll your duds to make everything fit in bub. No
air conditioning on those old left over WW2 ships back then, We did
have what was called blowers though. No good sailor abided scrounges
or thieves either one. Now the FMF 0~;) We berthed them in the Hold 10
and 12 high sometimes, the vomit could get ankle deep on their
deck.....worse than dogs-----they didn't seem to mind oder as much as
sailors did though. Back when I went in Marines were still climbing
down cargo nets hung over the side of the APA's to board landing
craft.

Nope, got one about the E.M Club at Subic Bay P.I. around 1959 or 60
when the Amphibious Squadron was in with a shit load of FMF. It
involves drunk Marines fighting each other and two skinny gator
sailors trying not to get evolved, Then on top of that their was a
cordon of sober Naval Base Marines with rifles at port arms
surrounding the fucking club, sheathed bayonets fixed want to hear it?

Jerry down in the Archives asleep on watch again? BTW Biggy, their are
certain requirements that need to be met if you want a Chump Jumper
number from a old hard ass like me!

#1 Do you have a money generating scam going on around any DZ?

#2 Do you earn your primary living outside the sport and have a home
DZ?
or
#3 Could you be considered a transient skydive bum by higher
standards.

#4 Do you wear bootee's or own a camera helmet?

If so, have you got a Coaching or JM endorsement. (these two are
disqualifying)

;)P

Nope Middle School in Sacramento Calif....They had gangs out there
even back then, usually divided by color & neighborhood. With my blue
eyes and drawl I was lucky to escape without being knifed by a Black
or Mexican. The geeks were on their own, every kid for himself. Guess
I might have been considered geeky in a way---the school provided
music class's and I was taking Violin plus instead of contact sports I
was on the swim team back then. Switched to B team football when we
came back to Texas
and I entered the 9th grade because Country schools in Texas didn't
provide artsy fartsy stuff back then, never forgot being on the
receiving end of Sophomoric brutality and pretty much left the geeks
alone. Unless they smarted off of course!

No and we usually sat in the pavilion when I was a kid, I just
mentioned bums row and the peanut gallery to explain the service I
provide for wreck. As far as Candlestick park, I had just come back
from Over seas (S.E. Asia) and I had $15,000 in 10% Government savings
on the books from stacking my Base pay, BEQ/Cola and Combat pay in the
Government savings account offered to guys in Vietnam for 13 months.
Also had a pocket full of cash from playing stud poker & shooting
craps in the Goat Locker. Why should I set on bums row? The California
sun was shining, early afternoon game yet the air still cool, thats
why we walked on down to the third base line.....to catch some rays
even though all three of us were burnt brown from the Tropic sun...You
really do have a cognitive flaw don't you boy? Hard to grasp concept?
oh well it could just be a lack of life experience or having lived
thus far without suffering hardship for any cause other than yourself.
Or shall we just say you're stupid? Ignorant? What----you chose I'm

Not much but one of these will get you in:

#1 a coaching endorsement
#2 or Camera helmet

If you have both you are blackballed.

If you pay for your own jumps you are blackballed.

The morals of a used car salesman and a narrow field of ability are
required for Chump Jumping status. Taking money from whats considered
a amateur sport without having a portfolio is paramount............DO

Dingleberry...I guess you will remain totally clueless forever. Nobody
likes your sea stories.Out of the 3or 4 people that hang around here I, for

That may be why I enjoy telling them, always did like making certain

Yes....I understand, facing the unknown is a powerful deterrent for

I think not, they are still JM's....Have to remain so in my mind I'm
afraid until someone
on the Geek Board can prove each and every one has the ability to
Instruct or teach
otherwise their just putting warm body's out of planes and thats
clearly jump mastering
Now -- do you qualify for a Chump Jumper number or not?

Yes it is a old word in vogue around the turn of the 20th century
right up to the 1930's, usually used by pompous businessmen or their
lawyers to counter charges of fraud. Anyway, young people---geeky or

Got to telling them by accident on here 7 or 8 years ago, one slipped
out
and two one hitch boots lost their mind. Of course anything that
piss's vain
people off is going to get used again and again.
My question is: why do you read them? I often change
any thread head I'm on, its not like you don't know when I'm fucking
with somebody......If you don't know how to use a filter, just kill
the thread
with "marked read." I'm thinking you just like to whine. 0~;-*
