People from N. Alabama and N. Georgia always seemed the same to me,

part of Bama......their WEB page was still up as of yesterday, I
checked it, Skydive Nawlings is over in Slidell and that sucker came up
the mouth of the Pearl river it seems, I immagine every DZ even close
to the gulf coast was hurt in one way or another...See gas hit 5 and 6
dollrs a gallon in Atlanta today....Gonna be tuff for awhile my chubby
little buddy ya better take up BASE, better start working out
now-pratice climbing the nearest standing trees heh heh

Well, It went from 2.41 to 2.87 from Lunch time --till 5:30pm.
(Tenn-bama border) Appears there is a shortage south of Tucaloosa AL,
(middle of state)as in no-mo-gas. I got a friend on a rescue missing
leaving in his car tommrrow morning heading south to pick up relatives
on the dry side. He came by and borrowed my chainsaw and all my gas
containers. H'es well armed, heheheh

it may have escaped the worst----West of Mobile to just past N.O. was

down all the way to Hattisburg Miss on 49 and destroyed homes...Gee

He's a Video geek....I'd say late 30's Early 40's, started in about
1995 over at Skydive America in Beaumont---He claims to have seen me
over there
while he was on student status and that could be true---I went to
Beaumont once or twice a year to jump with old friends....I don't
remember him so he must be unremarkable....didn't mess with students
much anyway, prefering to
deal with them just off student status----ya cud back then you know. He
latched on to me here in the late 90's, I was talking German to @nn and
doing spotting simmnars, Jerry was wanting attention so he started
talking Sgt Schultz style gibberish, wuzzn't even low German....Ann and
I ignored him so he jumped some Jewish skydiver down in
Australia...started singing
the Natzi anthem and all that kind of cityboy raciest shit....The Ng
fell on him and I took notice and started throwing gas on the fire as

His old dz, was about drunk range from Mobile. Drunk range, (being
not too far enough to drive drunk and arrive safe), or about 40 miles
in baptist talk. Direct WEST off Interstate 10. You can see the gulf
from altitude when you jump at his drop zone. His drop zone is in the
middle of a swamp, (which i've landed in many times) therefore, I
expect what ever shacks were there before to--> NOT be there now.

Kallend noticed a mention in the notes or news section regarding a
medal earned but did not mention the link to the scores and
classification which was right there. Just the same, I pointed out
the link as well as my status with the team when that medal was earned
and the note in that section was posted and there was no issue after
that - at least none beyond you trying to make something of it since
arguing points certainly hadn't gotten you anything beyond egg on your

never claimed we medaled at nationals. We have at the State level.

Sumbitch stays full, Leroy spent two weeks in a civilian hospital
waiting for a bed in the Houston VA, it never opened up...he just
eventually got well enough to come home. ;) I just use the outpatient

Which is quite interesting in that when all is said and done, I still
haven't quite comprehended how anyone can hang themselves,
figuretively or literally on an electronic news forum. I mean - if
it's a matter of sometime in the future having to deal with someone in

and killfile (or stop reading), one or both of us but keep in mind

poor, rushed USMC training then ended up in Vietnam durning tet...well
the first responders in hue mostly came out of Phu Bia or off hill top
fire bases surrounding the city....Being insulated within a perimeter
he got the holy shit scared out of him when he finally came out and met
the main force Mfer's on the other side...He's ageing now and has
medical problems caused by low blood sugar...it also causes a chemical

Get it right I said late 30's to early 40's....never forget yer dealing
with mostly USPA types whome also have short attention spans-as short

I will say this for you David, you must make a really good friend. You

He had a hip replaced I believe, saw a 86 year old out of the Hospital
and walking within two weeks....they have come a long way with hip and
knee joint replacements or any surgical repair proceedure. And zero
along the way in reattaching motor controls from the brain to a arm and
leg. I saw a guy at Quincy in 95 with no legs skydiving, lot of
difference between having live but unattached to brain limbs fighting
you and a prostheses or no limb at all, if it hadda just been a
leg-->no problem, since you youngsters are experts on everything in the
world ya shud know Arms & hands or at least a hook are very important
in modern Canopy control, My left arm just hangs-cain't even move a
finger %100 loss. Another drawback is paralyzed limbs snap easily,
thats why my left leg snapped in the 1999 attempt, not to mention cost
and for what to be around young dumb ass's like you? Nope, sold my rigs
and hung it up, it was fun while it lasted though ;)P

Man.....every day I walk around with this thing in my body I admire Jan
Davis more. She had two of them and over 4500 jumps when she went in.

My point exactly, actually. Well, that and the fact that all
responses to these threads are a result of seriously subjective ways
of reading the ones we're all responding to. For instance, while
Snuffy has more originality than just about anyone here, albeit mostly
regarding the same type of stuff, he also has had his share of
completely new and different tales and experiences to share. The key
phrase there is "his share." If we were all really measured by our
unique and varied experiences, I'd win hands down and there wouldn't
even be a close second. I don't happen to be in that contest though,
hence my marked lack of story telling. No, I figure the reason to be
here is to entertain myself, and maybe someone else of a like mind now
and then. Well, that and to tweak psychos beyond their limit. :-)

They're *still* showing that? Damn. You know, I go into convenience
stores and things sometimes and have complete strangers look at me and
ask my name, then say "It *is* you! I saw you on TV last night!" It
was cool at first, now it just reminds me of how vacuous television
has become.
Anyway, I can't believe you've never seen that before, but I'll tell
it one more time. It was a Nova 110 that I was selling because I'd
just bought a 99. There was some wind shear about 40' up, and when
the forward wind speed died, one side collapsed and I pretty much
plummeted. I had by pure coincidence handed my video camera to a
friend before loading (didn't have time to go put it away), and told
him to tape my landing. He did, and viola, my 5 minutes of fame, over
and over again.
By the way, I like your effort here, but I do have my doubts that it
will work. Too many anal people that can't let anything go, without a
clue of what it's like to know what's really going on here. Anyone
that does know will keep having fun at the others' expense, so at
least someone's getting something out of it.
You know, it isn't written anywhere that matters that this is supposed

I don't blame ya - I roadtripped there and back last year and watched
the fuel prices rise the further we went west - all in all, it cost
right at about an airpline ticket and rental - this time around flying

By the way, I like your effort here, but I do have my doubts that it
will work. Too many anal people that can't let anything go, without a
clue of what it's like to know what's really going on here. Anyone
that does know will keep having fun at the others' expense, so at
least someone's getting something out of it.

Skydivers, by nature are non-violent,, non-confortational,,, they don't
like bad feelings. anger, hurt feelings,,,, What you do,, I know is
good nature humor. I laugh at most everything you do.. you are a
"genious" at that. Unfortunately, I need you to help me, show others
the humor that you naturally perform.. Evidently, Jerry and Chuck,
take personal offense to your humor. Please, just give them a break for
a while,, and lets seeee what happens.

#1 Not all skydivers, the ones like Jerry and Biggy Jim are passive
aggressive---oh sure their afraid to fight physically cuz their
probably both shrimp, Chuck otoh has probably been a bully all his
life--Never came up against another street thug....The few years I was
USPA, all I saw was a little pushing and shoving, most prefer to fight
with their mouths or back stab....these are basically city sissy's. Few
to none were Jocks in high school cuz their small framed, they
preferred Band or other non contact sports....quite a few are working
in Office type jobs. Nothing wrong with that a job is a job-they just
prefer School and Office style politics to fight it out....Shit like
that don't work on my type.
I was trained to close and engage with any potential enemy, even if it
was a superior force....tie them down till air arrived or we got a TOT
then destroy them---liked to got me killed more than once but bottom
line
like them I'm the sum nature of my training and life-best to do like
the NLF/PLF and ad void me if ya cain 't take a fuk king ass whipping
