Mad Dog
Mad Dog was S&TA back in 93, while I was just
off student status but still couldn't stand up
even on grass. All I could do was fall on my ass.
Landing like a sailor following the rubber duck
into rough sea, ground is harder by one hundred and three.
She was kind of quite but when you didn't do
right she had one hell of a big bite.
Larry, Roy and me were doing a three out of
the League City Otter you see, when we broke I saw
some sky god slow pokes down below doing a
star hope four way round.
Not being prudent, I tracked down to see if they
would fly with an ex-student.
The gods did not notice me so I threw out so they
would see, boy did that create a major melee.
They beat me to the ground flying those little bitty
ZP canopies that make the popping sound that all
sky gods seem to have around.
Four little butts tight with fear, to them I was no dear.
Tattling to Mad Dog about the fatboy novice who did
the five way deploy they were less than coy.
Mad Dog went like a bear, tore into Larry and Roy
until they were in tears. Their big ass's were black
and blue so they started howling about me too.
I hid under a desk while she ripped up the rest,
run out the back and hid in a tree while she
was looking for me.
When she found the tree, I was gone in my car,
my tires were on fire. Larry and Roy were totally
pissed because of my get away, their
large butts had to pay. Being the low number
jumper, I pleaded my case they were the
one's who encouraged the chase.
As time passed, Mad Dog forgot the past
and we could relax at last.
Now when I see a sky god four way, my
eye's look the other way because Mad Dog
might make me pay if the little twits
say, Euweeee Snuffy is spoiling our day.

This one may well end my poem career--->that is why
they call me Snuffy the simple, can not resist sticking
my foot in it. Blue Sky's to all the fun jumpers of the
world.......that is 99% of us I think

Snuffy,
I remember that day...
That was when the entire Drop Zone thought you were going to be a
stat.
It's nice to see not even and entire DZ is correct all the time. You
are turning into a hell of a inspiration for all of us. If it's
poetry you want to tell the stories with then so be it. Like I said
not even an entire DZ is correct all the time....
