How could so many jumpsuit manufacturers be so wrong on something so
~important~?
Or maybe it was just some ignorant assclown getting it wrong.

Cut the crap. Like, you "tried" it. Another "I meant to do that"
moment. Cut the crap. No, what this is, is you simply while reaching
for a (really lame) angle of aspersion, attempted to suggest someone
was wrong for spelling a word a certain way - the stuff of
spell-nazis. You asserted a word had to be spelled some other
arbitrary way - the stuff of dumbasses or fascists. Turns out you had
spelled that word the very same way - the stuff of dumbasses or
hypocrites. And now you're crayfishing that you had "tried it a
while," - the stuff of lame copouts ~and~ transparent lies to cover a
blunder, as well as once again, pathetically attempting to dig your
stupid self out of another hole.

Nevermind already admitting to schooling in Sacramento, California and
elsewhere prior to your supposed stint in the USN. I'd say if you had
already been to school and still couldn't read by the time you were
old enough for the USN to look you over, then that's either indicative
of someone who was categorically "pretty" stupid - or at least
possessed a significant learning disability.
> ...Look at it phonetically dummy
>its pronounced boot tee's not boot Tye's
Actually, you're screwing up the phonetics but that's not surprising -
you are a moron who just makes it all up as you go along, afterall.
Phonetically, you're saying "boot tees" when in actuality the phonetic
pronunciation is, boo·tee or bü-te. You're saying the phonetics are
like saying a word which describes you, "boot" and adding another word
which describes what of yours I've been crossing all this time, Tees.
No one says "boot tees," moron, but boo-tees or more accurately in the
real world, boo-dees. You're just ill-equipped is all. Now, as for
your lameass charade that because the word is pronounced a certain
way, nevermind you totally getting the phonetics wrong, it must be
spelled a certain way, blow that out your ass, dumbass. It's an
English word and the ie suffix is perfectly common in the English
language phonetically epressed as, ee. Cut the crap, moron.

Where's ~your~ "GREEN CARD" immigrant. Not me who had to move to
Texas and definitely not me having all this trouble with simple
English and even simpler phonetics.

I could read comic books without to much trouble....I'd say I was
about at the 3rd grade reading level when the
Government sent me to boot camp in San Diego, Way cool I rode a train
all the way out there thinking, hell this
ain't bad then we stepped off on the platform at 3 am and a Petty
Officer swooped down on us and I thought
"Oh shit, this is big trouble." But you can get used of anything and
they continued to put grub on the table. I
think we were payed $58 a month but it was a year or so before I saw
any money, I owed them right out of boot camp
because they charged us for what they called Navy issue.
>
No, I had to work around the farm from a young age, no time or money
for school...No telephone, no electricity.
This was back when Ike was president, the needs of the Navy were far
different....I think they had a 950 ship
Navy back then, mostly wore out WWII VESSELS-----No missiles, no A/
C...You had to close with the enemy to fight
They just needed deck hands and there I was slopping the hogs, feeding
Chickens, cutting fire wood...Shit the
USN was a easy life, they fed you and issued shoes----Had hot water,
electricity and everything...Didn't work
much over 16 hours a day, you couldn't have cut it kid because it was
manual labor and they were not kind to
cry babies or anyone who had a opinion or couldn't stay in step. Yep,
you would have went straight to the Micky
Mouse platoon, no doubt
Life isn't some giant pissing contest, Mike, and no where have I ever
expressed a belief or assertion of superiority over anyone and to
conclude otherwise, to use your words, Mike, suggests it's beyond your
reading comprehension or understanding. If one person says one plus
one is three while extolling his superior math skills and another
explains that one plus one is two while condemning said math skills,
the one who can do the math isn't announcing some superiority because
he can do simple math. He's correcting the math and reproaching one
who is mistaken and who would extoll himself without merit. That, in
a nutshell, is what it comes down to and since you apparently still
read this crap after having said you would not, if you can't see who
clearly, despiite marked, numerous, undisputable, and real life
demonstrations of pofessed superiority witout merit, has the
superiority complex - and by your comment it's clear you can't - or at
least can't admit - then that, too, is apparently beyond your reading
comprehension or understanding. That said, here's a gimme: one may
well consider for whatever reason they might have, a liar and racist
to be not inferior to one who is not those things and if he believes
what he believes that's his own lookout but the liar and racist is
still a liar and racist, none the less.
Best Regards and Blue Skies,
Jerry
Only a self-absorbed assclown with affirmation issues such as Jinnie
would consider someone quoting words written by the Falcon's
manufacturer as "attacking" - simply because the words of the
manufacturer go against his grain by stating the canopy has,
"docile and forgiving flight characteristics making the Falcon ideal
for use by students and novice jumpers. The Falcon is a favorite
canopy of many drop zone's Accelerated Freefall applications"
It doesn't mesh with a whole slew of Jinnie's pretenses so it
therefore is taken as a threat - it's "attacking." Obviously, the
student canopy Jinnie purchased has nothing to do with spelling - but
it's still laugh, what with all the pretenses Jinnie assumes when it
comes to his canopy. Lighten up, Jinnie - you go off on tangents on a
regular basis while calling it "sly humor" and some novice or AFF
operation might follow the link and get themselves the same canopy you
flew. Good for students and novices, the sport and for Precision LOL!

Your just jealous because you lack the skill to deal with old

Until you bought yourself that Falcon which, according to the
manufacturer, "a favorite" for AFF student applications. So, the
first canopy you bought was a good, solid student canopy - why so

It's also a "good canopy" for many dropzones AFF applications, as well
as being a "good canopy" for novices and students due to its docile

Which explains the veritable explosion <sarcasm dummy> of Falcon sales
and the Saber almost entirely dsiappearing, eh Jinnie? Boy, you sure
do seem to have a lot invested in how totally bitch'n your canopy was
in the face of what the manufacturer has to say about it. Sensitive,
too. Yo, dumbass - it's an airfoil. Speed produces lift and I'll bet
anyone, name the stakes, that if you take a similar sized Falcon and
Saber, load them the same, and open at the same altitude, that the
Saber will glide farther - especially into a headwind. You don't have
a clue what you're talking about, dumbass.

jumpers and also a favorite canopy of many drop zone's Accelerated

make you special. Get over it. Hell, I jumped the Falcon a couple
times as a student and a couple dozen times since - usually when the
jump required docile and forgiving flight characteristics. It's a
good canopy but as for it "gliding farther" and "out-turning" a ZP
square - total bullshit.

Oh yeah I hosed the ZP gods once in a while just to watch them land
out as I flew past catching the Thermals with my whopping big ass F111
canopy, it was a hoot. Plenty of room on the packing floor when I
landed cause the Saber
twits were hoofing it across pastures and climbing bob wire fences---
Damn you should have heard the yowling and

climbing out? hilarious stuff
You're just making it up as you go along, Jinnie, and it's pathetic.
The Saber has a faster glide because of the shape of its airfoil and
very importantly, because of it's ZP. The air-intakes are shorter
than the Falcon thus presenting less front of canopy surface area
drag. The ZP, aside from itself offering less air resistance than
F111, also maintains its inflation much more efficiently than F111 and
thus remains more rigid and more efficient as an airfoil. All these
factors enable a quicker passage through the air and with more speed
comes more lift and with more lift comes longer flight. Plain and
simple and the physics, nevermind the practical comparison, do not
lie. The Falcon flies slower and has less lift and as such, sinks
more quickly abnd it has more drag because of it's leading edge and
because F111 offers more wind resistance than ZP. I'll offer the bet
again, dumbass, name the stakes - I will bet you or anyone that if you
take a Saber and a Falcon, both of similar size and loading and in
the same conditions, from the same altitude, the Saber will glide with
less sink and and farther (and faster). So, put your money and the
rep of your AFF application Falcon where your mouth is, Jinnie. I
dare you.
>nothing else over the
>Falcon.
Admittedly, the Falcon is a good fit for lowtimers, novices, and AFF
applications but in areas of flght dynamics, the Saber is more dynamic
- and I'm willing to bet on it. I guess this is where you start
thinking of excuses for not taking me up on the bet.

The switch to ZP - was this a keeping uip with the joneses switch or
were you starting to realize that in most circumstances, ZP is more
dynamic in nature? Btw - I will admit that when jumping into stadiums
and other somewhat tight areas, I prefer F111 and use it.

Oh, so you were able to look away from all the rhetorical baggage (in
your own head) that came with jumping a ZP becasue of the number of
cells? Now, was the preference for seven cells based on rhetoric and
what it represented or because of some sort of practicality?

Oh, so based upon another person's jump, spot, and even inability on
that jump to work his way back into the main landing area made the

and not for the last time.

For its time the Sabre1 was one of PD's best, a great square, and the
fact that there are many of them still out there is prime illustration
of this. The Falcon, on the otherhand was a decent enough canopy -
especially in terms of being a good fit for lowtimers, novices, and
AFF applications - at least according to the people who designed and
built them - but what do they know, eh Jinnie?

No, actually at the time I was leaning towards a PD190 but a very
experienced skydiver with thousands of jumps - who's still jumping by
the way - told me that in his opinion the 190 would be awesome for
about 50 jumps and then I would be bored silly with it and stuck with
a canopy that would just sit in a closet or would be hard to sell to
afford a new canopy without losing a ton of bucks on the initial
investment. He suggested a Sabre170 because I would be loading it
conservatively for my experience level at the time, it was very
reliable, would fly better and remain "newer" for a greater period of
time than a PD190, would teach me a lot more about flying and keeping
ahead of the curve as opposed to just flying what amounted to a F111
canopy very close in size to the canopies I was flying in the latter
part of my student jumps and renting after I graduated, and because it
was a very well respected, proven, and dynamic canopy which would be a
great deal of fun to fly. He predicted it would take me around 500
jumps to get to the point to where I would be ready for something more
dynamic and he was spot on, right about that. Made almost exactly 500
jumps on that canopy before I downsized 20 sq. feet from that Sabre to
a semi-elliptical - and I put over a thousand on that canopy before I
moved on to something else. You, on the otherhand apparently made
your canopy decisions based upon rhetorical baggage and have even
admitted losing interest in a canopy because someone else couldn't
make it back from a spot.

No actually a JM/I-Master Rigger named Mike Smith picked it out for me
and I modified it and the risers over the years, it was loaded one to
one from the git go, no need to downsize it served me well until
retirement, I also had Arts old Sharpshooter for use on windy days you
know 18 to 30 knots and gusting...Being a old guy, you know the type
that keeps a car until the engine falls out I doubt I would ever had
trashed the Falcon until it couldn't be repaired anymore. There had
been a guy around that treated Falcons with Silicone or something to
give them zp characteristics but he had retired or moved on by the
time I got interested And yes I know TRI had a 260 but it was my
experience some days you needed a smaller canopy or at least a more
balanced canopy to keep from backing up.

See you are not thinking again, plus you lack experience because you
play it safe 24/7 365 days a year.
TRI is not only a 7-cell its also Zp I might have wanted to drop to a
190 on it, don't know....I would have had to gone to Quincy at least
twice more to demo the different sized TRI's. I had a 244 Sharpshooter
that served me well. A
very stable canopy, not much distance but a great canopy, good for
high wind and very gusty days....I'm thinking a 190 TRI would have
been just about right for my exit weight...The F265 could have been
held back until I felt like hosing a bunch of prissy boys. Both
canopy's would have fit the packing tray of my J-5 OK. Of course I had
Arts old
J-8 also but If I changed out Canopus at home & showed up with the J-5
the DZ assholes wouldn't know
what I was flying until after the first jump-----I could stack the
Otter with novice zoo's positioning my self to
spot and put the bootee boys up by the pilot then hosed the holy shit
out of them. You weren't around in my
heyday so you don't realize how diabolical I really was when it came
to nailing sky gods to hear them cry

certain medical circles with me. 0~;>

Ya gotta love the pretenses here - you modified it? Had it modified -
sure. Unless you sewed that fancy collapsable pc, the fancy split
slider, and did the rigging work putting loops on the risers? "Over
the years?" Okay, technically two years and change gets in under the
wire for use of the plural, but it certainly wasn't some long stretch
that "over the years" implies.

Whoopty shit - a Falcon loaded 1:1 still had less of a glide ratio
than a similarly sized Sabre loaded 1:1.

Nevermind that a Triathlon will drive into the wind more efficiently,
as well as sink more slowly than a Falcon of similar size. Comes down
to air resistance and the airfoil, dummy. Speed generates lift -
more speed, more lift - and lift degrades sink and more speed due to
less air resistance creates more lift than otherwise and with more
speed and more lift comes more horizontal distance covered in a flight
which must descend to maintain forward speed Clutch to and cry about
the bogus idea that the Falcon had a greater glide ratio than it's ZP
cousins all you want - it won't change physics - or reality. I'm
willing to bet on it. You're pussing out, as per standard.
>Nothing stopped me from getting in my weekend jumps,
I'd say bad weather and the plane not flying on any given weekend did
- unless you're saying that you made jumps (as in more than one) every
weekend from the day you started to the day you were forced to stop.
>hell I've jumped
>into sleet storms before.
Whoopty shit. Ice in the sky? Whoa - <sarcasm, dummy> run and get a
camera.
>And that contest?
Contest, my ass. It was a bet. Don't forget it, chicken. You talk
the talk but appear quite heisitant to put your money where your mouth
is - no walking the walk going on here for your part.
>Total bullshit, it would have to be me and my 265 against you and your
>170,
But you said earlier that a ~Falcon~ has a better glide ratio than a
Sabre - nothing at all about qualifiers you are only now pulling out
of your ass. So, now it has to be you and your 265 and me under my
170. You said a Falcon has a better glide ratio than a Sabre and
that's a load of crap - now you're gargling qualifiers. Loser.
>that can't happen now because I can
>barely make it down to the Senior center for the $2 lunch anymore and
>I think you are a chiseler that can't be trusted
Jinnie talks the talk but when it comes to walking the walk
<crickets>. You're so sure you're right, then set it up and assign
whoever to fly whatever. I'll put up a bottle of Jack and a case of
Shiner Bock, Falcon loaded 1:1, similar sized Sabre loaded 1:1, both
opening at the same altitude - the Sabre will fly farther. It has a
greater glide ratio. Gonna take the bet, Jinnie, or puss out?
>so any test you came up with would be bogus.
Only because the test would be subject to physics and reality and
would prove you wrong and prove once again how you clutch close those
things, no matter how unrealistic and delusional, which make you feel
better about yourself. Lately, that the Falcon instead of being a
good canopy for students, novices, and AFF applications - as its
manufacturer asserts - was some sort of special canopy possessing a
glide ratio supposedly greater than some other canopy (bullshit) which
you have issue with for purely rhetorical reasons. I'm putting my
money where my mouth is, junior, but not you - all you got is excuses
and that comes as no surprise.
>You remind me a lot of
>the Chippies on Broadway who stood outside
>sleazy joints barking trying to get Sailors and Marines to come in and
>get rolled.
Keeping in mind this comparison is based purely upon imagination in
that you have imagined and concluded without a single shred of
practical experience, evidence, substance, or information which would
support such an idea. Your conclusions are without merit and
intellectually bankrupt. Quite simply, I take your line of crap and
bludgeon you with it on this electronic newsgroup - that is all you
know for sure - and that apparently is all you need to leap to all
sorts of asinine and self-affirming conclusions which serve the dual
purpose of making you feel better about yourself and dismissing the
spot on target deconstruction of your line of crap by dismissing the
person who's doing the deconstructing.
>Nope you are definitely a DZ hustler
>no way, no day is any test you come up with valid
I'll lay it out again: You say the Falcon has a greater glide ratio
than a Sabre. I say that's a load of crap and am willing to bet on
it. So, a Falcon and Sabre, both of similar size and both loaded at
1:1. Both measured from a predetermined altitude and horizontal
location, distance travelled from the pre-determined coordinates to
landing. I say and am willing to bet that the Sabre will fly farther
- that the Falcon's glide ratio will be less than the Sabre's. Put up
or shut up - lead pipe cinch you will do neither.

No, your ~delusions~ remind you of this cockamamie scene. That I am
supposedly "going around the DZ badgering novices to have their
picture taken" is based soley on the fact that I throw your crap back
in your face, nothing more. The connection you make is ad hominem
with no basis in reality, much less any actual substantiation or
proof. It is nothing more than an excuse for you to lean on in lieu
of accepting what is the reality and the truth.
I'll quote the Falcon's manufacturer again,
"docile and forgiving flight characteristics making the Falcon ideal
for use by students and novice jumpers. The Falcon is a favorite
canopy of many drop zone's Accelerated Freefall applications."
and no matter how much you bluster loads of crap about "glide ratio"
being "better" or whatever, it's not gonna change the fact that you
had a Falcon and the manufacturer markets this same canopy to
students, novices, and for dz AFF applications - and boy have you got
all defensive over it - making up glide ratio bullshit to ignore what
the manufacturer (who should know) says. Can't accept what they say
for purely rhetorical reasons which you're so sensitive to - that you
had a Falcon you fear likens you to students or novices or (horrors!)
AFF students, so it's a swift retreat to the bullshit, "Oh yeah? Well,
the Falcon has a better glide ratio than some other canopy snort
snort!" - all the while unwilling to put your line of bullshit to the
test. Say this disagreement had gone down at a dz and you were
talking the talk but backing away when it came to walking the walk and
taking the bet. Someone is willing to bet against what you say and
you back away with excuses. You'd be called a big, fat pussy and a
sack of wind, too stupid to keep his mouth shut to hide your ignorance
and your self-serving prejudices when the myths you hold dear are
threatened by even the risk of reality intervening and making a
judgement which might not jibe with your self-involvement. But, I''ll
just call you Jinnie Sniff which time has shown is pretty much the
same thing.

Shit, junior - not me who "played it safe" by sticking with his AFF
Falcon in lieu of a Traithlon because he feared he might have to walk
a little.

That or contact the manufactuerer for a demo or
Seeing you are a DZ whore I believe you would walk for money, the
question is would you go down for free?
And yes the modifications on distance were mine, I selected what was
available and hooked it together my self,
much to the dismay of modern riggers- - -The olden riggers were

I doubt I would contact a Mfg, there were DZ's around with extensive
lofts trying to sell canopy's, just a matter
of finding the right one and going by for a jump or two......No hurry
though I was happy with the Falcon and it was a long way from being
wore out and I had a lot of snots needing attitude adjustments. TRI
would have been better for sinking it in. I see they have a 210 also,
don't remember that all I remember being interested in was the 190 &

Like most skydivers I accept the premise that through a variety of
reasons and circumstances, walking is a part of parachuting. You
clearly never chased a brother skydiver's gear or with the ability to
make it back, chose to land out with someone to make sure they were
okay.

Yeah, sure <sarcasm, dummy> - you sewed those riser loops, the fancy

time you were quite simply, a modern skydiver. Poser.

Blow it out your ass - it's the right thing to do. Brother's keeper
and all of that. And you "probably" lacked the canopy and accuracy
skills to chase gear or land next to someone who had landed out.

So, through accident or your own incompetance you fucked up someone's
gear and caught hell for it. Once burned, twice shy?

Simply because it's the right thing to do, junior.
>The DZ had a pickup truck to go

Oh, yeah - <sarcasm, dummy> like someone lands out and if you landed
by them it wasn't simply to make sure they're okay (as if you could)
the reason to do so was to carry them back.
>if its a newbie I might drive out and pick him or her up
If only so you could spew your line of crap to a captive audience for
a little bit "probably."
>even though they had been cleared to jump master self. If it was
>because of a round reserve? Well they
>made the gear choice.
More than a number of times I've seen people land out and either not
get up or get up real slowly - and if no one was going for them, I
would - just SOP. Not Jinnie - he's more of a "fuck your buddy" type.
Leave 'em where they lie - and to think that people took the time to
call an ambulance and bundle your "cleared to jump master self"
carcass off to the hospital after your final debacle
>Snots? I'd be pinned before anyone found them.
And that's what's more important to Jinnie - not the well-being of
fellow skydivers but getting his rig closed before them.
>BTW I believe in mercy killing, you might not want me to come upon
>your mangled body and be whimpering in pain.
First - this is presupposing you had the skills to land anywhere near
a target such as someone hurt in a field and second - that you were
capable of being able to "come upon" a hurt skydiver (which you're not
and never will be). And Jinnie Sniff's latest little snuff fantasy
burbles to the surface - the dream of coming upon another skydiver in
dire straits, mangled and in pain, and Jinnie killing him. Get help,
Jinnie.

I landed out under the Sharpshooter while attempting a CRW dock, only
time I remember landing out with the Falcon
involved was when I had to cut it away. To solve the landing out
problem I gave up screwing with crew. Back to me landing out to help
another....Like I said--Mercy Killing is one of my strong beliefs,
having spent 13 months as a moving target in a combat zone with no
Corpsman and dust offs unlikely till we reached a safer area with a
sandbar down river. You wouldn't want me to land out with you to see
how you are doing. "Oh look, there is that useless bottom feeding
M'fer-----Jerry!" And there you lay, moaning in pain calling for
mommy. Not being a EMT my first reflex would be to lift your head and
give it a quick twist to end your pain. When help finally arrived I'd
simply say " Jeepers, the weight of that camera helmet must have
snapped his geeky young neck!" I'd repeat that at any coroner's
inquest that came up also. Of course I couldn't indulge in the
pleasure of shitting down your neck before help arrived, that would
look suspicious bwooooooohahaha 0~;->
You must be a mediocre skydiver at best if you do a lot of walking,
walking comes from a lack of planning and attention to detail.....all
part of being a good all round jumper. NO WONDER YOU ARE AFRAID TO
ATTEND A JCC!
Serving your country when asked and paying tax's on all earned income
are the right thing to do also, you pick and choose or what? Learn to
give 110 percent and quit playing the angles phony boy, you need to do
the right thing 24/7-365, so when does the giving back to the sport
start?

It was a Saber, landed in the brambles along a bob wire fence...was
flapping in the breeze when I drove up. Careful as I could be and
trying not to get snake bit I crossed a bar ditch on foot and lifted
the snagged part off the bob wire, Yellow Jackets started attacking me
so I broke and run. Threw it in the back seat and went on to the DZ.
It just had to be a fricking Saber--Thats why I got blamed for the
minor rip. "Snuffy hates ZP's, he tried to kill mine!" Yeah right,
just trying to take care of another skydiver, I had no idea it was a
deguello tryout or his girly boy Saber.
Only the sorry DZ Politician type so at least 80 or 95 percent would
not receive my version of palliative care

Nope I'd show the staff right away and be closed before they brought
the person in....If it was somebody I liked I'd ride along and help
with the recovery....Put your emotions aside, if you are hurt wouldn't
you like EMS to reach you quicker. Landing out with you a person with
few medical skills and no equipment isn't going to be much help. A
older wiser person flying back with your location is a better plan,
that way when the DZ Staff reach you they can radio back if you need
medical evacuation, life flight or anything......It cuts time....Now
who you want showing up, a mean old man with no morphine who can't
stand cry babies or Staff with a pickup truck and a radio? Think hard
now, I know you love me,
but not enough to die 0~;-*
