I&E's can seem rather stiff even prigish.....They implement USPA
rules, even though they might be good riggers and rules people they
can be rusty in the air....I only knew one, he hung around my home DZ.
Rather up tight button your shirt to the top type, its all of that
book learning and memorizing USPA shit. They tend to be geeky over
achieving types who prefer pocket protectors with poor communication
skills....Give them a break, they generally feel like they are
carrying skydiving on their shoulders and have to walk around like
they got a piece of rebar up their ass. 0~;) Having one around can
take some of the fun out of being a fun jumper------They frown on
zoo's but must except it because its all part of skydiving. I didn't
like the guy at first but then looked past his lack of finesse & poor
psychoanalyzing what makes jumpers what they are skills. If he can't
spot or do formation work worth a spit , pretend you don't notice.
Theres an old saying everybody is only as good as their last jump---
I'll go it one further, very few skydivers are as good as they think
they are----Ego blinds them though, so try to learn something from the
guy...He's probably strong in what your weak in.
Like being a by the rules tight ass----yawl all need each other.....Be
kind to your S&TA, I&E DZO or whatever. They have
un-thankful jobs-----Carry their creaky old ass's, they have put a lot

Seems to me that if he's at one dz and not, say, on staff, filling out
that card may become problematical. But, if he's at multiple dz's,
then greater opportunity would exist. Further, all he need do is go
to one or several dz's where SL/IAD is primary, get on staff or not,
and take advantage of opportunity as it appears. Clear as day. But,
oh no, in Jinnie's blinkered fantasyland, SL/IAD is just this side of
all gone everywhere. Why? Because Jinnie says so, of course -
nevermind Jinnie not knowing what he's talking about because of, aside
from being a demonstrated idiot, he doesn't go to dropzones and has
