These rigs were sold, packed and sealed by American Loft, Accurate
Skydiving or David "Bruce" Sully..... of Laurel, Maryland. His seal is
RV5.....He has been notified on July 20, 1998 by the manufacturer to
correct this problem immediately and has not recalled all of these
systems yet.
If you own a Reflex there is a little test I have been using to check
the pilot chute. Put your fingers under the edge of the cap and feel
under the edge of the primary (spring loaded) pilot chute. If you feel
fabric between the cosmetic cap and the fiberglass cap of the primary
pilot chute ..... Get your rigger. if there is no fabric you are
probably OK. Please have your rigger look at it anyway. Please print
this letter and take it to your local rigger or DZ. There are alot of
these systems out there so remember this and pass this information on.
If you have any more questions please call Mick Cottle at Flightline

Yeah, but without his persistence, I'd have been nowhere with this. He
went out on a big limb.
