After coming 5th and 14th the last two years as a "hobby" skier, Thomas
Alsgaard has started proper comeback training, with his own team:

The norwegian xc coach, ge Skinstad, believes that he might well
succeed now that he has a proper team around him and time enough to
train one or two times every day. :-)
I don't think we'll see him in the Olympics though.

Alas, I did not inherit the language along with other Norwegian genes.
But for a fun exercise try the Google web page translate function on
that link from Terji. (http://translate.google.com/translate?

Here is just a sample:
"Alsgaard began to Turrenn for a couple of years ago. The ambitions
were relatively low, and Alsgaard cost him to be back in the groove.
Now it aims higher: Victory in Vasaloppet with a nykomponert team
around him of the runners, smørere and an administrative leader."
Indeed.
