A full month earlier than last year, which in turn was three weeks
earlier than for the 2008 Marcialonga.
Are there more Norwegians and Swedes than before (or are they
registering earlier than before)? Or is there a XC skiing boom in
Italy? Are they doing something right in Italy and arranging a better
event? Or are the other XC marathons suffering a decline due to poorer
or less certain snow conditions?
