I'm demo'ing a pair of them. I put a verbose review and a couple pics.
In short, they seem like the XC equivalent of CX, if you follow...
(Cat skis are to skiing what cyclocross is to cycling... Short intense
outings is all you need...)
Also, they seem like the answer when nothing else will work. Tonight
we have icy blizzard conditions with 1.5" of slush on the trails.
Skiing is out. So is rollerskiing, running and cycling. But CAT skis
were great! Stable even when they slipped a bit in conditions that
would be disastrous for any other training mode.
