Oriskany - go tech or stick to the island?

I'm heading to the ?Oriskany with some friends, we're all tech
experienced and have been given the option of either doing one tech
divewith doubles or two dives on just the island portion of the wreck
staying above 130.

I'm thinking the island would offer plenty of fun but have now idea how
open it is or what it really offers.

The flight deck and hanger are essentially a parking garage, so
anything tech would be deeper. But what penetration does the wreck
offer? I've been inside Essexclass carriers and they are a maze, I'm
guessing that penetration is pretty limited.

So, for those who have done the Oriskany - what would you suggest?
stick to the island or drop deep on doubles for something better.

If I'm not mistaken, you're going to dive the wreck to find out what it's
like for yourself. Why not start simple and work to the complex? In my
mind, doing so also includes a single dive with twins that sticks to the
upper portions of the wreck. I often get to see more in one long dive than
I would in two short ones.
