Sex offenders are a pretty disgusting bunch, so it's often hard to say
one is worse than the other. But one man in Montana has managed to
rise to the top of the shit pile with his disgusting acts and the
justification for them.
Seventy-two-year-old Albert Gaub owned a daycare where he repeatedly
assaulted a 4-year-old girl in his care. That is bad enough, right?
But it gets worse. After pleading guilty in 2010 to assaulting the
girl over a period of 18 months, he was sentenced to 30 years in
prison with 15 suspended. But he was classified as a Level 2 sex
offender, which means he is considered to be at a moderate risk to
repeat his crime.
Personally, anyone who would have a sexual interest in a toddler is a
morally repugnant, Level 100 piece of dog shit in our book, The worst
part has yet to come, though. b&c

During an interview with police, Gaub characterized his victim as "4
going on 40." Give it a moment. Let that sink in. He actually said
that an innocent 4-year-old who had been molested since before she
could even talk was somehow a Lolita-esque baby? Where is my eye
poking stick when I need it? Jeeeeesus, people.....
According to the Attorney General's Office: "Gaub claimed that the
girl knew what she was doing and what was going on, suggesting that if
the little girl had not been so promiscuous he would not have abused
her." Gaub wrote in a statement that he touched her in a wrong way,
but did not "harm" her. And all this was said while he was trying to
become a Level 1 offender. Pardon me while I puke.
As far as I am concerned, showing no remorse for your crimes and
blaming the victim (one who happens to be a TODDLER) tells me all I
need to know about what kind of pervert phreak this is. He may be old.
He may not be around kids after his release. But this isn't a man who
deserves to have any quality of life. Level 2 seems awfully generous.
The fact is, the rate of recidivism on some pedophiles is
astronomically high, and while it does tend to vary depending on the
crime, common sense says that an offender who thinks they have done
nothing wrong isn't sane and is fucked up in the head.
Our hearts goes out to this poor little girl and I hope she never
catches wind of the horrible things this man said about her. There is
no such thing as a 4-year-old who is asking to be abused. The very
thought makes me want to hurt someone.
