Keep the picante levels down: black beans and rice are good,
but paint-remover doesn't cut it!

Not it. This kid lives on vegetables, fruits, beans and rice. With some
non-fat yogurt for dessert and non-fat cottage cheese with breakfast. No
spices.
I have the same problem after hard training runs and races. Sometimes the
cramps start right away and somes a few hours later. I can lessen these by not
eating at least 4 hours before exercising. I usually wait an hour or two
before eating after exercising, too.
