# tell us about your training week and goals.

Will have in the usual 6 days on and 1 off ... total of about 45 miles
of running.

I did sign up for a 5k memorial day but not expecting much ... 21 and
30 seconds at this point would be fine with me ... could be worse.

Good luck all!

Tu: Not ready to go back to regular 8K, just jogged around exploring
neighborhood for a bit over half an hour, covering about 19 blocks, which
sketchroute.com makes out to be 3.5K. OK, almost 4K more than last
Tuesday.

We: Hike, not quite 10mi. Twenty-eight stream crossings with only one
steep climb. About 4hr, inc. lunch.

Fr: Skipped normal 5K in favor of running up a rather steep hill. Soon
devolved into alternately running and walking between street light poles.
A bit over a half hour.

Su: Somebody reminded me that there was a 10K. Doubted I could finish
it, but knew I'd come nowhere near my normal Sunday 13K anyway, so I
went for it. Astonished to run the whole thing! Finished 104/201 overall,
77/183 male, 2/3 age group, in 1:04:50. 104th career 10K.

My 10K PR and PW are both on this course. PR 40:28 when I was 51, PW when
I was 76, slightly slower than this year (surprised that today's wasn't it.)

a nice 10mi up&down a 12% grade trail in 57:20 on Sunday -- a decent
time for me -- cycling & core exercises during the week.

Around 50km for the week in 4 runs
including a long trail run of 22.5km.
Managed to trip and fall and scrape myself
on some gravel about half way through the
long run. A bit of blood - but mostly just
wounded pride running with a group that
I coach....
Then a couple of days ago managed to bang
my little toe pretty badly in the house... more
self inflicted pain. Got a 10k trail race coming up
tomorrow - hopefully will stay upright and not
feel the effects of these misadventures....
