One of the five campaigns is set in an abandoned amusement park, and
apparently features a sequence set on a rollercoaster. Sounds like
fun! Anyone tried this yet?
I'm super psyched for the Zombie Clowns as well. :-)
I have played it and the entire chapter is really fun with the Psycho
Clowns chasing you along with the rest of the infected. The segment
with the rollercoaster is fun, you need to start the ride (which
attracts the horde of course) and then you run along the course of the
coaster. There must be a coaster fan somewhere at Valve, though the
unbanked turns on the ride will leave you laughing. The game is a lot
of fun.

I like the new Uncommon Infected...the cops in riot gear are a pain in
the ass!
Picking it up this week.
Goddamnit, I've been ignoring this game, and now you've gone and made
me interested.

It's a horrid time suck, Keith, run while you still can!
Sounds like we got a pretty good vs game in the making! We all need
to give our Steam usernames out.....
It is a truly excellent game.

Wanted to add, if you want to see what we are talking about check out

Eraser1114 here. ;-) I should be in the new game this weekend,
assuming my Systems Analysis homework gets done by then.

I thought it was ChunkyLover10?
That's my AOL username, bigboy.
I'm so far behind in games. I just finished Hitman: Blood Money (good
but I liked the third installment the best). And I just started
Splinter Cell: Double Agent yesterday. Still sitting on Gears of War
too. LOL! Gotta catch up before the next installments show up!
Just skip all that and jump on the Left for Dead bandwagon. Best FPS
ever written. Where else can you chainsaw a Psycho Zombie Clown?
This game has great graphics and a great AI. Team play is a must!
And you have to work as a team to finish the game. Add in the Vs.
Mode where you can play as a special infected and nothing else beats
it. Ranks up there with the other game changers like Doom, Quake and
Half Life.
My son who is 16 now is like a little general when he plays directing
people and tactics. I won't play against him.

Heh heh...I do that too, LOL!
I have about a 70% winning percentage in Versus. :-)
Ugh. I hate FPS. Third person is more my thing.
I think I skipped over Left for Dead, because I kept confusing it for
Dead to Rights.......yuck.
Everything is different in L4D2. With the Charger, Jockey and spitter
old tactics are out the window. No more camping in a corner to fight
hordes, its all about keeping on the run.

Is it fun playing as those? Charger looks neat-o.
Oh Yeah. Charger is fun but if you miss your first attack that is
about it for you against any decent team as it is a straight line
attack. The Jockey is the most fun.
Saw a great attack where a smoker was pulling somebody and a charger
picked him up still attached.

Damn, I'm gonna get owned the first couple days, gettin' up to
speed. :-(
But it's a problem I can live with. :-)
Cripes, I haven't even finished Bioshock yet. How can I be expected
to shell out money for this?
