# 8201 rated to 500W at 50 ohms, covers a frequency range up to 2.4 GHz

but have not researched it myself. I just used it with the installed
connector.
Unit is in VG condition and includes a built-in carry handle on top. The
manual can be downloaded here. Approximate shipping weight is 25#. NOTE:
This unit is designed to be used in the horizontal position with feet down

many people (men in particular) do not read manuals. Holes predrilled in
feet for permanent mounting or addition of rubber feet (not included).

advance notice and verifiable amateur call sign. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING.
Scammers, don't even try your baloney...I've seen and heard it all. PayPal

time, as the shack is already got more stuff than I can use (if that's
really possible).
I can be reached via email: jvalencic at gmail dot com NOTE: This is NOT
my PayPal account, so you need to contact me to get that information.

Yaesu FT-625RD Six Meter Multimode Transceiver
Posted: 10 Nov 2012 08:04 AM PST
http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?367868-Yaesu-FT-625RD-Six-Meter-Multimode-Transceiver&goto=newpost
Yaesu FT-625RD Six Meter Multimode Transceiver
The Yaesu FT-625RD is a 6 meter multi-mode transceiver that operates in
SSB, CW, FM and AM modes. Power output is: 25 watts SSB/CW/FM and 8 watts
AM. Frequency coverage is 50 to 54 MHz. It has a noise blanker, speaker and
three way analog meter (S Meter/Power Out/FM Discriminator). It also has a
built in AC power supply and can be powered from 12 volts DC, but will need
a power cord for DC operation.
An Advanced Receiver Research P50VD receiver preamplifier has been
installed in the transceiver. This preamp has a noise figure of less than
1.3 dB and even with a simple antenna, band noise and not receiver noise is
the limiting factor. If the antenna picks up a signal you will hear it.
Nothing is too weak to overcome the receiver noise in this radio!
The radio works well and I have had it on the air recently. It has an
analogue VFO and some drift is evident as is normal with this type of VFO
and it does seem close to specifications. The s-meter indication of the
noise floor will slowly drop by about 3 S-units over a few hours after
power on. I am not sure if this is from heat related changes in the AGC,
s-meter circuitry or receiver gain, but it does not effect performance in
any way. Just a little quirk. Some of the potentiometers could also use
some cleaning, although just using them will probably clean them up well.
The radio has been sitting for a number of years.
FM mode has a split function, but has a 1 MHz offset which is not used all
areas area. Crystals would be required to enable operation at 1.7 MHz or
another split. Unless one wants to spend the money on the custom crystals,
FM use would be limited to simplex operation or the 1 MHz split. The
optional memory unit would also allow split operation with any offset, but
is not included in this transceiver. The optional memory unit is very rare,
expensive, and difficult to find. This radio is best as a weak signal
(SSB/CW) radio anyways.
An optional 600 Hz narrow crystal filter for CW is also available and I
will install it if requested.
This transceiver does NOT have the optional memory unit.
The original user manual for the radio and preamplifier is included as well
as the AC power cable and the accessory plug. Also included is a Realistic
handheld microphone model 21-1549A which seems to work well.
The radio belonged to a good friend on mine who is now a silent key. I
purchased the radio for him off of e-Bay in 2006 and checked it over at
that time. The only problem I found was a burnt-out dial light and I
replaced that with a blue LED. He used the radio a bit for a couple of
years, but the radio sat idle for the last few years. I am selling it for
his heirs.
Also available is a S.E.M Isle of Man V.H.F. TranZmatch. This is a six
meter only antenna tuner. Note that this antenna tuner does not cover 2
meters or HF.
FT-625RD including manual, mic, and AC power cord: $375.
600 Hz narrow CW crystal filter: $40. I will install it if requested with
no installation charge.
S.E.M Isle of Man V.H.F. TranZmatch: $40.
I am open to offers.
Note that the crystal filter and tranzmatch will not be sold separately
before the radio is sold. The purchaser of the radio will get the first
option on these accessories.
The rig is located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. I would prefer
local pickup, but will ship. Please note that shipping in or from Canada is
much more expensive than the US. It could easily hit $75. Also a US buyer
may incur import duties or taxes and this is the purchaser's
responsibility. Shipping will be limited to the 10 Canadian Provinces and
lower 48 US States only. The prices asked above do NOT include shipping
charges.
All items are sold "As Is". No guarantees.

GE Desktop DC Power Supply with Wired Mic Scan/Monitor Control Clip
Posted: 10 Nov 2012 05:41 AM PST
http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?367855-GE-Desktop-DC-Power-Supply-with-Wired-Mic-Scan-Monitor-Control-Clip&goto=newpost
Up for sale is a General Electric DC Power Supply which I recently
acquired. I have tested the power supply and it is working. The power
supply includes a special wiring harness for use with one or more
particular G.E. radios, and there is a metal mic clip wired to the harness
which is obviously intended for use with radios that start and stop
scanning and/or "monitor" features when the mic is placed back in the clip.
All of that could easily be done away with if not needed, tucked behind a
shelf, whatever. Bottom line is that this power supply puts out DC voltage
as it should. It's quite heavy for its size, so it no doubt has a hefty
transformer in it. I am not sure how many amps of DC current this thing can
handle but it has to be quite a few -- I'm fairly certain it will handle
even a mobile rig putting out quite a few watts, since G.E. obviously
factory wired it for powering their radios. I can't find specs on it
anywhere online. It's just sitting in my garage taking up space, so I'm
selling it cheap. Will ship USPS Priority Mail anywhere in the U.S.,
including AK or HI. Price is only $25 plus $15.45 shipping for a total of
$40.45. Payment by Paypal only, please, with NO extra fees for using
Paypal. I can be reached at KK4ICE(at)arrl.net, or by phone at
three-three-four-444-6796. Please don't private message me here, as I often
overlook the message notification at the top of the screen.

Type 810 Transmitter Tubes
Posted: 10 Nov 2012 04:56 AM PST
http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?367851-Type-810-Transmitter-Tubes&goto=newpost
Three Type 810 Transmitter Tubes LIMITED TIME Minimum Risk Purchase Offer!!
NOTE: THESE TUBES ARE OFFERED FOR SALE FOR A LIMITED TIMEÂ…SEE TEXT #.
100_1878.JPG100_1877.JPG
I have three (3) Type 810 transmitter tubes for sale. These type 810
triode transmitter tubes were in a large lot of tubes that were purportedly
pulled from the assembly line of a major manufacturer for the purpose of
quality control inspection or due to production overruns. This
manufacturer produced tubes for itself and several other major tube
companies. Sometimes, if a production run for a tube included quantities
for more than one tube company, the brand names were left off the envelopes
and/or bases of the tubes. The company for which the tubes were
manufactured would then use a process whereby their brand name was applied
to the tubes. The 810 tubes I am selling have no brand names. When I
received these tubes, they were not in boxes but were wrapped in protective
batting.
I cannot verify that these tubes have never been used but they appear to be
excellent physical condition. I have no way to test these tubes
operationally. However, the filaments of all three register continuity on
my digital ohm meter. I have checked between all the base pins, grid and
plate connections using multi-megohm settings on my ohm meter. I find no
shorts. The graphite plates of all three appear to be in excellent
condition.
I will furnish to the Buyer technical documentation on these 310 tubes as
published by RCA in their “RCA Tube Handbook” for engineers. Also diagrams
of how to use them to build a Multi-band 275 watt single tube CW
transmitter; a Push-Pull RF Amplifier for 750 Watt Class C CW or Class C
Plate Modulated 500 Watt AM Phone and a diagram for a Class B Modulator.
Each of these tubes has a serial number written on the glass support inside
the tube. The serial numbers for the tubes are respectively: E132; Y1481
and 17Y61.
# New Old Stock versions of this tube are advertised for up to $179 per
tube in some retail outlets. Since I cannot say the ones I am selling are
NOS, I am selling them as used and offering all 3 tubes for $130 + $16
Packing, Postage, Insurance and Tracking Total $146.
# These tubes are offered at this price until midnight November 24. First
come, first served.
RETURNS: I will accept returns on these tubes as follows:
Buyer must contact Seller within 14 days of receipt of the tubes if they
wish to return them. Buyer is requested to give the reason for the return
at that time. Buyer must pay return shipping charges including insurance
and tracking. Tubes must be carefully packed so as to prevent damage.
Buyer must return tubes in same condition as when shipped by Seller. The
tubes will be verified by lot or serial number and tested upon return. If
there is evidence of mistreatment of the tube or the filaments are burned
out, no refund will be forthcoming. So, treat these tubes with tender
loving care during the 14 days.
If all these conditions are met, a full refund of Buyers purchase price and
original shipping charges, including those incurred by the Seller, will be
cheerfully refunded.
My contact information is: dmead...@retroradel.com (preferred) or telephone
706-273-0030.
