Posted: 23 Oct 2012 09:53 AM PDT
http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?365805-Palstar-ZM-30-Digital-Ant...

I bought this for an antenna project, but then never followed through on
it, so this unit is new as I never have used it.

This is a pretty nice little device.  Besides analyzing antennas, it is a
signal generator, and could even be used as a VFO in a homebrew project.
Check it out on the palstar web site.

Cost new $400.00.  Your price $250.00.

I have the original copy of the owner's manual.

Non smoking environment. I am the original owner.

Paypal only, and the price includes shipping and insurance for the amount
of the purchase to the lower 48 US states.

Please contact me if you have any questions. You can send me a private
message, and I will immediately receive an email because I have subscribed

spare "AA case". I will also include a 2.3amp gel cel 12vdc battery and its
charger, along with an after market soft case I have for it that the
gel-cel fits in bottom nicely. I will ship UPS, with UPS packing. I will
not gaurantee life of batteries, it will be shipped in working condition.
No returns or refunds.

DX Engineering RR8-HP and CC-8

Posted: 23 Oct 2012 08:49 AM PDT
http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?365799-DX-Engineering-RR8-HP-and...

This is an 8 port remote antenna switch.  It is rated at 7kW ICAS, 5 kW CCS
all modes under 2:1 SWR.  And it includes the CC-8 Control Console.

Port to Port isolation is >70 dB below 30 MHz, >60 db below 60 MHz, and >45
db below 150 MHz.

Original cost $505.00.  Your price $300.00

This switch is currently installed, as you can see from the attached
photos, but I am only using two antennas.  (I had 5 antennas when I lived
in CT, but only 2 here in FL.)  I have recently purchased a new Elecraft
KAT-500 antenna tuner to complete my K-Line station, and the KAT-500 has
three antenna outputs, so this switch is redundant for my operation.

(The CC-8 is shown sitting on top of my LDG-600 Pro antenna tuner, which is
also for sale.)

If you purchase this, I will immediately de-install it, and ship it out
within one business day.

I have the original copy of the owner's manual.

Non smoking environment. I am the original owner.

Paypal only, and the price includes shipping and insurance for the amount
of the purchase to the lower 48 US states.

Please contact me if you have any questions. You can send me a private
message, and I will immediately receive an email because I have subscribed
to this listing.

Please ignore the picture of the Palstar FL-30 Low Pass Filter which was
posted by mistake.  (It is for sale on another QRZ listing for $75.00)

Thanks for looking.

Kansas City Tracker / Tuner board

Posted: 22 Oct 2012 09:36 PM PDT
http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?365766-Kansas-City-Tracker-Tuner...

Hello. I have a Kansas City Tracker / Tuner board for sale. It is in
perfect working condition, and was removed from a working ham radio station.

$35.00 + $7.95 shipping to Continental US.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/170929470490?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksi...
84.m1555.l2649

The Kansas City Tracker/Tuner is an 8-bit PC board which will operate in
an  open ISA slot, in IBM-compatible computers, ranging from XT's to
Pentium  systems. It does not use any hardware interrupts, parallel ports
or serial  ports. The card occupies 4 consecutive I/O addresses, starting
at the address  specified on the board's DIP switches. It has its own
DB25-type port, which is  used to connect to both a rotor controller, and
either a dual band radio or two  single band radios. An 8-foot cable is
provided, with a DB25 connector on one  end, and an 8-pin DIN connector on
the other. This cable can be used as-is, to  connect to a Yaesu/Kenpro
5400B/5500/5600 rotor controller, or it can be  modified, using
instructions provided, for other type controllers.

The KCT interfaces with a rotor controller in two ways.

First, it requires input from the Elevation and Azimuth potentiometers to
determine their position. This must be in the form of DC voltages that vary
from  0V to about 5V, as the antenna moves from one end of travel to the
other. It  then uses an A/D converter to generate a voltage/position table.
It can then  send the antenna array to any specified position.

Second, the KCT has 5 outputs which can activate the controller's
up/down,  left/right, and brake-release inputs. These lines can pull the
desired input to  ground, and cause antenna motion in the corresponding
direction. Manual control  through the controllers switches is still
possible.

The Yaesu/Kenpro controller can be driven directly by these TTL, 30ma
outputs. The Rotor Interface, which is now standard on the KCT, expands
this  current sinking capability to 300 ma, and is used to drive external
relays. To  use the KCT with a controller other than the Yaesu/Kenpro
5400B/5500/5600  series, you will need to purchase and install your own 12V
relays, such as those  available at Radio Shack, between the KCT and your
controller. Instructions for  this process are included in the Users Manual.

The Tuner option, now also standard on the KCT, consists of additional
components on the KCT board for Doppler compensation.

Instructions are provided for connecting a user-supplied cable to the DB25
end of the KCT cable, for interfacing to either the serial port or
mic-click  input of the radio. Using the Tuner function requires the use of
a separate  satellite tracking program such as Quiktrak or WiSP. Some
programs that support  the KCT do not support the Tuner option. There is no
need to purchase a TTL to  RS232 converter for your radio. The KCT can be
switched to either type of  output.

When the Kansas City Tracker/Tuner is used with one of these programs,
the  system can be set up to automatically follow a schedule of satellite
passes, and  send and receive data unattended.

The following radios are supported by tracking programs that use the DOS
KCT  TSR:

Kenwood TS-711, TS-811, TS-790Icom IC-275, IC-475, IC-970 (single band
control), R-7000Yaesu 736, FT-767

Additional radios are supported by various satellite tracking software
packages which supply their own custom KCT drivers. These may operate
under  Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT.

Array Solutions Power Master Power Meter

Posted: 22 Oct 2012 08:47 PM PDT
http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?365764-Array-Solutions-Power-Mas...

Mint condition Power Master power meter.  It has the 3 KW coupler.

You install the coupler where convenient and connect with a cable with 1/4"
TRS plugs on each end.  No RF cables at the meter.

I had it connected between my Homebrew 3-1000 amp and my antenna switch.

This meter reads forward power and SWR simultaneously.  Forward power is
read on an auto-ranging bar graph and is also displayed as a number.  You
can set it for fast hold of peak power (0.2 sec), medium (1 sec), slow (2
sec) or long (5 sec).  SWR is displayed as the SWR ratio, not the actual
amount of SWR power.

Selling because I got rid of the Homebrew amp and my Elecraft KPA500
essentially has the same functionality built into it.

This meter is very accurate.  See the Array Solutions web site for more
information.

Price $250.00.

Thanks for looking.
