Drake Radio Gear

http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?367130-Drake-Radio-Gear&goto=new...
I have several Drake radio items that I am selling for the family of a
recent SK.
The only item that was recently in service is the L-4B Linear Amplifier.
It is believed to have been working
correctly within the last 6 months. All other items have been carefully
stored. All are in excellent cosmetic
shape. All are believed to have been working correctly at the time of
storage, with one possible exception:
T-4XC manual has a note indicating a possible issue (email me for
details). Prices are firm (although you may
make me an offer to consider after a reasonable interval). Prices are pick
up only in Washington State Puget
Sound area. If no one buys these items locally, I will consider shipping,
but this is expected to be very costly.
I do NOT have the original boxes. All manuals are present. These items are
all in collector grade shape. Photos
available. R-4C and interior L-4B shown as example of condition of ALL
items.
L-4B Linear Amp and L-4S Power Supply: $950; T-4XC Transmitter: $200; R-4C
Receiver with Sherwood mods: $575; AC-4/MS-4
power supply/speaker combo: $150; TR-4CW Transceiver: $450; MS-4 Speaker:
$90. k...@arrl.net

Jones terminal strip assortment

http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?367111-Jones-terminal-strip-asso...
I have about 10# of various Jones terminal strips. Some are missing a few
screws (aren't we all?).
With great remorse and regret I am offering this assortment for $25 +
actual ship. Probably fit a flat rate box.
Pix is a sampling, these go into the much larger box of strips.

Ten-Tec Model 544 Digital/Accessories
Posted: 03 Nov 2012 08:10 PM PDT
http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?367083-Ten-Tec-Model-544-Digital...
Ten-Tec Model 544 Digital 100W transceiver with optional CW filter and
Noise Blanker installed. A true classic, this radio is in excellent
cosmetic condition and operates in CW and SSB modes. Full disclosure: the
first digit on frequency display is inoperative and will require service
from Ten-Tec and the band selector switch is "sticky" and also requires
service or cleaning by Ten-Tec. Ten-Tec’s service department said the
digital display problem was most likely: (1) faulty digit; (2) bad IC; (3)
bad transistor. No field repairs—must send it in. Service department also
said that when it was there, they'd try cleaning the band switch first and
if that didn’t work, perhaps a rebuild or replacement would be required.
Neither of these issues affect the radio's operating capabilities. I have
too many radios and don't plan to repair this one, so am selling it. Comes
with Ten-Tec hand mic and original manual. Asking $225 + shipping.
Complete your Ten-Tec Model 544 station with these accessories that are all
in excellent condition: Model 262M power supply with built in VOX for $75 +
shipping; Model 247 antenna tuner for $50 + shipping; Model 242 remote VFO
for $90 + shipping; Model KR-5 keyer for $35 + shipping; Model 241 crystal
calibrator for $50 + shipping; Model 215P desk mic for $25 + shipping.
PayPal okay. US address only-sorry, no international inquiries or
transactions. Thanks for looking! Alan - W4AJM

Alda 103 Transceiver/PS-115 Power Supply
Posted: 03 Nov 2012 07:15 PM PDT
http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?367078-Alda-103-Transceiver-PS-1...
Alda 103 100W 80/40/20 meter tri-band transceiver in excellent condition
with optional noise blanker and 25/100KHz crystal calibrator. Operating
modes are USB, LSB and CW. Great little vintage solid state rig that would
make a nice back up radio or maybe an entry level radio for a newcomer.
Supplied with hand mic, operator's manual and service manual. $250 +
shipping.
Also have the matching PS-115 13.8 VDC power supply. This is a rare item
and is in very good to excellent condition. $50 + shipping. Buy both items
(transceiver and power supply) and I'll include an extra, hard to find hand
mic made just for the Alda 103 and an extra Jones plug power cable for
filed or mobile operating.
It's been a fun radio to play with on the air, but I have way too much ham
gear and must sell some of it! PayPal okay. US address only-no
international inquiries or transactions. Thanks for looking! Alan - W4AJM

Hallicrafters S-1, Rare first Hallicrafters Receiver
Posted: 03 Nov 2012 06:51 PM PDT
http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?367076-Hallicrafters-S-1-Rare-fi...
The First Hallicrafters, model S-1 $3500.
One of the best known and respected names in ham radio is Hallicrafters.
Founded in 1932 by William J. Halligan, the company name was chosen as a
composite of the two words: "Halligan" and "handcrafted". "Handcraft Makes
Perfect" was the first logo of his enterprise.
First announced in the April 1934 issue of "Radio News," the "S-1 Skyrider"
sold for $39.95, about the same price as popular kit radios. A few were
built in small production runs of fifty or a hundred sets. Each one was
handcrafted and signed by the assembler. Today less than 7 are known to
exist. This receiver was featured in the November 2000 QST Oldradio Column.
The S-1 introduced several new innovations into ham radio receivers. Most
receivers up until now had plug-in coils. While not the "very first" radio
to have this, the S-1 featured band switching. Four positions covered from
1.6 to 22 mhz.
