Hi,

Some folks have mentioned dx.com as a source for electrical "gadgets".

Frankly, never heard of them.

I looked at their website, and they sure do have a zillion items.
Looks like most, if not all, are shipped from overseas, though.

Their Forum has lots of Posts re never have received after many months,
etc. But, of course, the ones who had good luck with them probably never
Post.

Anyone care to comment re these folks ?

e.g., reputable, good service, reasonable delivery, etc. ?

Caveats ?

Thanks,
Bob

DealExtreme is based in China, and almost everything they sell is either
from China, Korea, or Japan.

Unfortunately, shipping anything from China is a hassle unless you lease
a giant shipping vessel. Expect delivery time of about a week.

Putting the item(s) into a box seems to take DealExtreme a very long time.
(I've heard of wait times averaging a month.) If they give you a UPS
tracking number, it's shipped. Otherwise, assume they haven't even taken
the item off of the shelf until you get a tracking number.

You could look on eBay for a seller who has already taken the time to
buy the item in bulk and already have it in the U.S.
