The Eton E1 Radio and the RF Junkie "SWLZ" 9:1 Shortwave
Listener's Balun with "F" Connector for RG6 (75 Ohm) Coax
Cable Feed-in-Line Output.

If you are looking to build your own Random Wire Antenna
(Longwire) to use with your Eton E1 Radio; then consider
the "SWLZ" Shortwave Listener's (SWL) Balun by RF Junkie.
WHY ? First the Eton E1 Radio uses a "PAL" Jack as the Input
for an External Shortwave Listener's (SWL) Antenna.
PAL ADAPTER - In the USA most of us will buy a "PAL" Jack to
"F" Connector Adapter as the first piece of any SWL Antenna
Hook-Up for the Eton E1 Radio.
DIRECT RG6 COAX CABLE HOOK-UP TO THE ETON E1 :
The simplest direct hook-up to accomplish this External
Antenna "Connection" is to use RG6 (RG-6) 75 Ohms Coax Cable.
RG6 (RG-6) is the 75 Ohms Coax Cable that is now used in
most common home Cable TV and Satellite DDS TV Systems.
Plus RG6 is readily available and has a relatively low cost.
Note - RG59 (RG-59) 75 Ohm Coax Cable can also be used with
the SWLZ Balun.
SWLZ BALUN - The RF Junkie SWLZ Balun uses an "F" Connector
as the Coax Cable mating jack; and simplifies the whole Coax
Cable hook-up process to the Eton E1 Radio.

It's "Coming Soon!" on the Canadian Circuit City website for CDN$599.99 less
$25 if you pay by using a The Source By Circuit City Credit Card. At CDN$1 =
US$0.84, it's cheaper in the US.

With approval granted and supported by Cabinet for both XM and Sirius to
operate in Canada, the XM option might find some traction.
