Morning David. from what i'm hearing on AM570, out of
Youngstown, OH. ; there is "no joe the plumber". another
empty shirt. not even a good try by the people behind
john mac. looks like more bush-crime-family crap. but,
they/i could be wrong. i also noticed that strange smile
on macs face, scary, like he wanted to jump up and down
like a small child. when he didn't smile, he looked like
a corpse. could have been the make-up, ala nixon like.
i have talked to mac a few times, over the last few years,
and he does look much better in person.
Drifter...
Good Morning,
Whoever he is, somebody is earning big bucks coordinating his satellite
time. I heard a rumor on the Bill Press Show that Joe is related to
Charles Keating of all people. Whatever. They're making it sound like
Obama would take his money and give it to ACORN; not so; Obama
understands that unless the infrastructure (physical, educational, etc.)
must be paid for. Old Joe the Plumber needs roads to get to his customers.
We must stop borrowing money to give tax breaks to wealthy people. That
is robbing America's children to support Paris Hilton.
not to worry.. If Joe the Plumber is concerned about being a
non-person, he just has to declare that The Obama is right and The Obama
will reinstate his existence.

Digging dirt on Joe is a bad idea
Lee Cary
This afternoon ABC's Charlie Gibson reported on his hourly radio news
report the results of his network diggin' dirt on Joe the Plumber.
Gibson reported that Joe has a "lien" for failing to "pay his property
tax." The lead-in, stated by a co-reporter, was "Oh, by the way, Joe..."
Here's a guy who's just an average citizen, approached by a campaigning
Obama, who expresses his opinion. It's his right as a citizen.
Problem is, what Joe said isn't consistent with the ABC party line. So
Joe is now in the crosshairs, and they'll stay on Joe the Plumber in an
effort to ruin his life and destroy his credibility.
This is just a taste of the "Thugocracy" that Michael Barone wrote about.
Criticize Obama and the old big media will work hard to ruin you. This
is extremely dangerous for this democracy.
Joe Plumber is as fake as Barack Obama. The latter is an economic
nightmare.
Yes, this is exactly what happened in Nazi Germany as well as in Mao
Tse Dung's Cultural Revolution.
Millions dead soon followed.
G_d Save America!
Pathetic.
If you want some respect I suggest you read up on your American history
to find out how the country used to support it self before the personal
income tax.

No, "Joe" just isn't what he was made out to be. I know several people
who know him. It has nothing to do with "party lines", it's just the
truth.

I have done my best to ask ALL OT political posters to stop. I have
not extended a "pass" to anyone. I will admit I am particularly
disappointed in you, since it wasn't that long ago that you were
asking people to make an attempt to remember that this is a shortwave
newsgroup. Your attempt to suggest that I am only interested in
stopping conservative extremists, like yourself, is just another
attempt on your part to make it look like you're the one being
wronged. In reality, YOU are the one "wronging" all of us that
believe
the is a SHORTWAVE newsgroup.
To make it clear:
I wish everyone - Left and Right - would return to shortwave. I can
read the political sites on my own. I don't need the help of either
side.
SHORTWAVE, please. If you have to engage in this juvenile nonsense, at
least try to offset it with a few shortwave-related posts.
When was the last time you turned a shortwave radio on, Roy?

You get a gold star.
The Fed's should go back to earning cash from tariffs and drop the
income taxes. This is the only way we can prevent trade imbalances from
occurring.
This country needs to drop NAFTA like a hot potato and protect the labor
rates in this country. We can bring manufacturing jobs back to this
country instead of shipping them off to the lowest poor standard of
living country.
Next you will figure out that you can tax the hell out of the "rich" in
this country and not collect anything close to what the middle class can
pay because we make and spend most of the money.
Do not be suckered into fear, envy or other negative emotions by the
mass media as it causes you to react instead of think.

What about the corporations that can get away with not paying any income
taxes?
http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSN1249465620080812?sp=true
JB
Businesses use loopholes in tax code. Maybe there should be a minimum
alternative tax on businesses so they pay at least some money on the
profit made by them.
Only corporations should pay income tax. Businesses should pay taxes on
profits. Individuals should not normally be paying a corporate tax
unless they make the decision to incorporate. Anyone that is just an
employee should not pay an income tax. People should not be penalized
for making money before they can even spend it.
The government should support itself with sales taxes, license fees,
usage fees, corporate taxes, and tariffs. Property taxes for
individuals should be eliminated and only corporations should pay
property taxes.

I caution you on the notion that business paying a tax that is passed
along to the consumer being the same thing as the consumer paying the
tax directly on earnings. What's the difference? The consumer of does
not pay the tax until he spends his money. Once you earn it you can
save it, invest it before spending it. This leads to a significant bias
to save then buy instead of buy now and pay interest, which has gotten
us to where we are today.
Most importantly, when you earn the money you actually get your hands
on it. That does not happen with todays income tax payroll deductions.

Taxes are part of the "Cost of Doing Business"
and the "Cost of Doing Business" is pasted
along to the Consumer of the Goods and Services
provided by that Business =ERGO= Consumers End
Up Actually Paying the Taxes Levied on Businesses.
[ Business Taxes : Hidden Taxes That We All Pay ]
.
Business Taxes that are Levied on American
Business add to the Cost of American Goods
and Services an Artificially Price them Higher
then Imported Products. This is Bad for American
Businesses, Employees and Consumers.

A National Sales Tax on All Goods and Services
both Imported and American Made - Does Two Very
Important Things :
1 - Taxes Both Imported and American Made Equally
2 - Prices Both Imported and American Made Fairly
Plus this Tax is Not Hidden : You See It Listed

Successful in that I know I was cheated!
If the guy says he's going to do one thing, and turns around and does another,
not my fault, I had no control over that, at that point in time.
It would be my fault if I did not initiate action against him, which I've done.
