Hard to say, but the guy is in Kentucky, and does seem to use similar wording.
Though IIRC, someone else a while back had some radio stuff to sell, and not knowing any better, decided to make his listings look like RM ones because he gets top dollar for his stuff.
One notable difference is the auction was clearly missing a profit center by offering "free shipping".
I am pretty sure this is NOT radio-mart. I think this person saw how successful radio-mart is and copied as much as possible. it is interesting to note that he got a lot less than radio-mart would have gotten !!!!

Yeah it's the pic and also the use of the word 'cleansed' in the description.
It has 'Radio-Mart' written all over it.
Perhaps this is 'Radio-Mart's' ticket buying and selling operation, but then one wonders what the purpose was in listing this radio through that sellers ID?
Hey may be ever consider that 'some junk' is so Bad that even RadioMart (RM) will not sell "The Junk" on eBay under his own name. - - - now that's a laughter :o) ~ RHF . . . . .

Maybe, Radio-Mart forgot which ID he was planning to scam somebody with on that item?
And after being burned by Radio-mart once, he turns around and goes back for more witin days. I'd like to meet this guy's wife.
What raises some questions, is that Radio-mart's common mode here, is to post a complaint of 'not-so-nice-feedback,' while keeping both his auctions and feedback profiles private. Rendering further investigation impossible.
While there are actually legitimate reasons for keeping an auction private, this pattern of feedback hostility without any avenue of confirmation would be reason alone to avoid doing business with Radio-mart.

I tell you who got burned - whoever paid $1995.00 for the R-390a 2 or 3 weeks ago. Tag line said it was "Collins Original" but the nameplate on the front of the radio said MOTOROLA. The pics are gone now but I noticed this before the radio sold.
I'd like to be a fly on the wall when the buyer saw that his "COLLINS" R-390a was really a MOTOROLA.

Well, before you get too concerned, you have to realize that although the radio was "originally" *designed* by Collins (thus making it a "Collins Original" as stated by the seller) and that Collins did build many, the gummint let contracts to several other companies to *build* the radios to Collins specs in later years, including Motorola and Helena Rubenstein (yes, *that* Helena Rubenstein). However, technically speaking, it is still legitimate to refer to the 390 as a "Collins" radio no matter who built it. As Cuhulin often says, "Look it up".

And it's quite possible to have an R-390A with a Collins Serial # tag and everything from the front panel back be from a half-dozen contractors. If you want to have a 4 sure Collins get an R-390.
