Sorry guys, I somehow missed the original post.

The rule of thumb for SSB operation on the ham bands is: Above 10 MHz,
use USB, below 10 MHz, use LSB. This is basically a gentlemen's
agreement, it's not illegal to use LSB above 10 MHz, but you're not
going to make any friends by being the rugged individualist on this
one, The 60m band is the exception. USB is required by rule on 60m.

So on 160m, 80m, and 40m, expect LSB, on the other bands, expect USB.

Then why do you go to those groups? If I was getting flamed every time I
logged on or made a post on certain groups, I would step back re-evaluate
what my PRIORITIES in life were. If it was truly a hate crime, then take it
to the police, that's what we pay taxes for.
