I love the moral qualities of the people who engage in the mercenary
bullshit now paid for by the American taxpayer. Even their employer
appears to be a scumbag.

Blackwater now has more murderers on the ground than the US Government.
The schools are falling apart and the roads are crumbling, but there is
always money for War profiteering friends of the establishment.

I voted Green Party.
Wise choice. The two party, top down government doesn't work. We need
listeners, not 'leaders'.
I still wonder how a Ralph Nader led Libertarian government would work...

He's getting old. There is no political solution.
It appears that your state of Michigan could desperately use some
socialism Canadian style. I've not read of any 93 year old Canadians
freezing to death in their homes because of greed driven utility
companies as happened in your beloved state of Michigan. To read the
story of the 93 year old WWII veteran's death see

Nor can I imagine the 45% unemployed in Detroit would object to giving
socialism a try given the complete destruction of their lives by
"capitalism" (a completely bogus term and and conceptual fraud - but
I've have neither the time nor inclination to explain it to you
lemmings).
Oh and by the way, how many of your social security "disability"
checks have you returned? Surely a man of your steller character and
iron clad principles could not accept money derived from the socialist
program called "social security". Or could you?

We already have it in the form of our Governor, Jennifer Granholm. She was born
in CanaDuh.

Isn't that the story of the fellow who was later discovered to have over
$100,000 in the bank and was to tight to pay his bill(s) so as to be able to
leave the money to a charity after he passed away?

Socialism defies a good explanation.

Why yes I could, as I paid for the benefit. And, with every benefit check I
receive, ninety six dollars and some change is withheld.
I'm still paying.

Yes Jeremy Scahill has done an excellent job exposing the criminal
enterprise known as Blackwater (consequently they changed their name
to Ze or something in a lame attempt to deflect attention from their
corruption).
Amy Goodman at Democracy Now http://www.democracynow.org has Scahill
on often discussing the latest findings of his investigation of
Blackwater and Eric Prince -the right wing religious psychopath who
owns it.
Democracy Now provides investigative journalism the way it should be.
You certainly won't find any being done by the corporate owned media
of America.
I wouldn't count on front man Obama to prosecute Eric Prince and
Blackwater (whom Bush and Chaney had hard-ons for). Which is more
proof (as if more is needed) that Obama is nothing more than an errand
boy for the elite who truly rule the USA.

No, it was a 93 year old man of diminished capacity desperately trying
to fend for himself. Whose frozen body was found next to the utility
bill that had the cash payment attached to it. A simple phone call
from the greedy utility bureaucRATS
could have prevented the atrocity.
It really is very bad form to slander the deceased elderly WWII
veteran as you did in your post. Karma has a way of dealing with
individuals like you. Poor you.

America is a continent. The USA is an oligarchy. Ask Glenn Beck.

I'm not going to begrudge a man his pension, a deal's a deal.
Lare, like most radio righties, just hasn't gotten past the emotional
way of looking at thins. Therefore he lives on sound-bites and shallow
analysis.

Did the collector ever show up? Why aren't there laws that prevent
turning off the heat until spring? Why do we deserve to even have a
society if this is how we behave?
Disability insurance is part of the social safety net, especially if
someone else paid the premiums. Receiving disability payments while
condemning welfare is hypocrisy.
