People have said the FCC made a mistake and didn't know what they were doing when they created FRS right exactly on GMRS frequencies and rigjht in the middle of GMRS frequencies. Wrong!! I live near Madison, WI and currently use a scanner from 1995. So I'm looking to buy a new scanner next year so I can still listen to Dane county after they update there system but still be able to listen to other counties in the area.
