He has a R7100 for sale. "Government Model". These are really easy to
unblock if you have the service manual. I really don't think it is a
government model.

Here is an old blast from the past regarding Martyn:

He used to have private feedback, but I guess ebay doesn't allow that
anymore. He screwed 19 people in the last year.

Supposedly you can get a refund from Radio-Mart, but you have to
wonder about a person that writes glowing reviews for items that don't
work.

Incidentally the other person peddling a service manual for the radio
is another ripoff. It is free on the net.

Radio-Mart sells under one ID, and buys under another. So the lovely
stuff he is selling is often some junk Martyn bought off ebay. He just
writes a glowing description and puts it on red velvet.

DBA are traceable via the secretary of state website in most states.

Hi,
there is something nagging me about this thread, we used to have a guy
in the UK that had a shop in Cambridgeshire, he had a similar
reputation. Rumour was he also had an American wife. He disappeared
suddenly from his shop some years ago, 5 + maybe. I'm sure his name was
Martin / Martyn, before I do any digging to see if it is the same fellow
I wonder if any of the above rings a bell with any one? This is just
out of curiosity, he doesn't owe me at all!!!!!!!

If I'm not mistaken, Martin/Martyn, is indeed from the UK.

Radio-Mart is Martyn Allison, and he is from the UK.

He's been on eBay for a lot longer than 5 years, based in Kentucky.

Yes, it is the same guy - Martyn/Martin Allison (G4AGV). His business
was called Multicomm2000 (all one word), and shop was in or around St.
Neots, Cambridgeshire

Thanks for that John,
I worked just around the corner from his shop, I was being intentionally
vague by saying Cambridgeshire in case it wasn't the same guy. I bought
a few things from him, luckily only books and a few other relatively
safe purchases. He did have somewhat of an "interesting" reputation
back then too.

Best of luck with him...........
