Steffen activate the rare JN56 Square as IN3/DD0VF from JN56PH with
good take off to north. He will try to use a MMMonVHF DX Blog (use:

Andy, DK7DR, will be hiding direction Sweden with a mobilhome from
up Saturday 19th june. Maybe Andy will be able to activate the rare
square JO98 for one morning (around 1st july) and will send some info
to MMMonVHF direct than. Keep tuned! Rig will be 8 el DK7ZB antenna
and IC 7400. More details will follow when he is at the side...

Special Event Call IY1GMN will be qrv for the 100th year of the
Nobel prize to Guglielmo Marconi. LATEST NEWS from Gio, IK1UWL,
dated 2009-06-20: Special call IY1GMN is valid till 28/6/09, so
activity will continue next week. Up to now 70 qsos have been made
and the relevant diplomas delivered by e-mail. Thanks to all.

*** HS / OK16 ***

Against his plans, Karsten, DL2LAH, will be back in Thailand in
october and try to be qrv as HS0ZIL from OK16BQ. He will be there
for QRL and so he do not knows defenatly now when he might show
up on the Moon. The time frame will include 09.10. - 24.10.2009
and he will get up as HS0ZIL from OK16bq and be qrv as it will be
possible. As soon he will be there he will start to build up the
second 10el DK7ZB and try to be ready than with 2x 10el vertical.

Nice occasion to work with City Gdynia (JO94) in Poland during
first weekend of july. For these Event several Stations from Gdynia
are qrv HF, 50 Mhz and 144 MHz... Michal SP2IQW will try to put
mainly 2m activity and 6m if I will fix F9FT antenna. Gdynia in
these days will be most active city in EU probably - have a look

50 MHz trip through Montana and North Dakota by Gene, KB7Q
Gene, KB7Q will be touring central and eastern Montana on into North
Dakota in our RV. Will have at least 12OW watts and a long Yagi on
6 meters. We will be spending several days in some of these grids.

Hello all, K2TER and I will be operating the K2TER VHF Rover as
VHF station of the W2RDX Field Day effort. 6 thru 10 gig with these

tower! Will be able to do SSB, CW, and FM. Please listen for us and

W0SD & W7XU (and perhaps 1 or 2 others) will be operating from Bamako
Mali from up today (26th). LATEST NEWS from Arliss, W7XU, dated
2009-06-25: SIX METER EME: TZ6EI will be on our setting moon from
about 20 degrees to our horizon on June 27, 28 and 29 calling CQ.

On June 27 PI9CAM will be active again! 25 m Dwingeloo dish JO32ET
See www.camras.nl Only 23 cm this time. 65 W at the feed. Looking

Eight operators, are going to Saint Nicolas island in the Glenans
archipelago (IN77XR, IOTA EU-094) located in French Britanny.
The same Manche area Ham team who was active formerly from Tombelaine
(2007) and Brehat (2008) Islands is once more on the go. They will
stay on the island between september 11th to 18th. QRV HF, 50 MHz

Operators Cuagn/OK2BOB and Vilem/OK2BC will be active as SV8/hc/p
from Lesvos Island (Lesbos, Mytilini) between 0700z, June 22nd and
0400z, July 2nd. From Grid Loc. KM39, activity will be on all bands
using CW and SSB (Primary bands are 40/30/20/17 meters) + 6m
55-14270, 18155, 21255, 24955, 28485 and 50125-50135 kHz (+/- QRM)

SARDINIA (EU-024). Flaviano, I2MOV, informs OPDX that he will
depart for Sardinia on July 20th, and will be active for about
two months as IS0/I2MOV. His QTH will be Dolianova 20km north
from Cagliari. His Grid Locator is JM49OJ. He will mainly be
active on CW using an IC706MKIIG and a vertical antenna for
7 bands (40/30/20/17/15/12/10m). He will also be active on 6 m.
mainly in CW, using a home-made dipole. QSL via his home callsign

Members of the Fajardo Amateur DX Club, KP4DXC will be active
between 1500z June 26th to 2300z June 28th from Culebra island
(NA-099, USi PR002, WLOTA 0549). Basic radio equipment will be

dipoles and homebrewed Buddistick antennas for 40-6 meters, also

Iain, MM0TFU will be active from Blackwaterfoot (Grid IO75IM),

included. Outside the contest he will be QRV on all HF bands,

25/07/2009: Mark, KO1U will be active from Cousins island (NA-137
USi ME041S, Cumberland county), State of Maine, from 1000z July
25th to 2300z July 26th. He also plans to activate Littlejohn
island (NA-137, USi ME065S, Cumberland county) during the day.
Mark will be running 100W with verticals 80-10m, 3 element yagi
on 6 meters. QRV on, or near, the IOTA frequencies with focus on
the RSGB IOTA Contest, CW/SSB. QSL via home call.

Special event station GB4WWM will be aired June 27-28th from
Wellesbourne Wartime Museum, Wellesbourne Mountford airfield,
Wellesbourne, Warwickshire, England (IOTA EU-005, WLOTA 1841).
The museum is located in an underground emergency wartime command
and control bunker, and houses a collection of aviation artefacts
Displays cover the history of Wellesbourne Mountford airfield,
together with various aircraft components and memorabilia.
They will be active on the HF and VHF bands, using mainly CW.

*** LZ / KN33 ***

Zlatan/LZ4ZD and Gosho/LZ1ZF will be active the evening of June
26th until the afternoon of June 28th from the Natural Park
"Shumensko Plateau" (WFF LZFF-026, WW Loc. KN33LG) using the
special callsign LZ01WFF. They will work on all HF bands from
80 to 10 meters including WARC bands, probably on 6 and 2 meters
depending on conditions. Equipment: FT897D, ACOM1000, GP and wire

June 28th from the Citadelle de Huy (LG-071 for the Belgian
