Meteorscatter News from MMMonVHF

Shower activity in July is concentrated around the end of the
month. Most remarkable shower this month is Southern d-Aquariids
peaking July 28. This medium-ZHR shower is characterized by
relatively faint meteors, but its maximum can be quite broad,
leading to similar ZHR from July 28th to 30th. Take also
advantage of very good Sporadic Meteors rates: Sporadics rates
are now approaching annual maximum, which will occur in late
summer. Have a look to shower predictions for July 2009 at our
MMMonVHF MS-Propagationpage http://www.mmmonvhf.de/ms.php

EME Activity from Nigeria in next month... LATEST NEWS from Bodo,
dated 2009-06-26: I finally have been QRV again on 2m and 23cm.
I prepared everything good but the amplifier stoped working again
after 4 hours on air. However, I could at least gain the number
of QSOs to 177. However, there are still many more stations that
want to work me. I am on my way to Friedrichshafen to buy spare
parts. I return on 3July and will be QRV again in July. Its
probably after the IARU contest where I attend as 5N0HQ. I will
stay here until end of October and plan to be on the moon at
least one weekend a month. Priority is to get as many new stations
in the log as possible. As I am home coming week, I will answer
all direct mail. Its a lot of work but I want to get it done.
All mail that arrives after 2July, will have to wait a bit until
I come back home again. Please be patient, all cards will be
answered. In the meanwhile, you may check my online log if you
made it. If you are sure you had a QSO but dont find yourself
in the log, just drop me a mail and I can check the log. The
5N0EME log is uploaded here on mmmonvhf and the 5N0OCH log
(with many interesting statistics) can be seen at www.clublog.org
See you in a few weeks via EME. See all in detail:
