The results of the Forth EPC Russia DX Contest - 2012 were published on
November 4, 2012. We congratulate the winners and prize-winners with the
deserved achievements and wish them to continue the improvement of their
equipment and aerials, as well as skills of work in PSK-contests to
compete successfully in our next contests in fair and uncompromising
struggle.
epcrudxc_logo2.jpg754 logs of participants from 67 DXCC countries have
been received. We must note the increase in the number of contesters who
have become more responsible towards their work in PSK mode, as well as
to compilation of a report and its timely submission. Inspection by robot
and downloading logs via the Web-site UA9QCQ helped many contesters to
learn to compile their logs in Cabrillo properly. We hope that there will
be even more participants in ontest-2013. Even despite the fact that from
the next year the deadline for the reception of reports for all
EPC-contests was reduced to 5 days (120 hours) after the end of contests.
In EPCRUDXC it was not possible to play as yet only one prize - a
Plaquette for 1,000th participant. That is why this award is transferred
to the next year. The Contest Committee has begun distribution of diplomas
and certificates, ordered plaques and other prizes about which we announce
additionally.
We note the well-deserved victory SOAB-WORLD by Paolo Emanuelli IN3VVK.
Using the SO2R technology (single operator - two radios) he has achieved
amazing results - 1087 announced and 989 confirmed QSOs and 2,646,700

thefinish - 681 QSOs and 1,471,851 points. There was no equal to Dmitry

Due to good propagation during the contest, some of the participants

on their continents showed in SOAB, SOHF and SOLF respectively: in Africa
