RAC Bulletin 2013-023E - Field Day is just around the corner

With Field Day fast approaching, I would like to encourage all Clubs,
ARES Groups and individuals to enjoy this 24 hour display of Amateur
Radio Emergency Communications capability.

Contact your municipality for support, your news crews to drop by for
important coverage to help raise the Amateur Radio profile within the
community, and invite your government leaders to drop by your site.

Field Day is a time to showcase Ham Radio, and it's ability to provide
infrastructure support when normal communications disappear or overload.

Most important, have fun and enjoy the comraderie.
