You should be able to pass the extra now that the code is gone, you or
anyone else should have no excuses. For me the Extra was easier than
the General but the Advanced was the most difficult. Nevertheless,
aced them all 100% including 20 wpm code. You have no excuse not to
come back with a CSCE for all elements.

Well....It's 1505Z on the 25th...So far nothing, but to be very
fair, the band sounds dead. We've got 30Kt winds and the ambient
static sucks.
I'll keep trying for a while...There's always hope.
