Hi. I'm going to be camping in Asheville for a few days and wonder if there
are any really good coverage repeaters in the area? I'll be limited to an HT
while there.

Thanks for your help!

This link should get you some North Carolina repeater info:
http://www.artscipub.com/repeaters/states/North-Carolina.asp

I was camping about 50 miles west of Asheville in June. Your
coverage varies quite a bit in the mountains.

There you go again Roger, shooting off your mouth about
things technical. You copied these freqs. off some web
site, and you have no idea what the coverage of these
repeaters are. Plus, you are always confused by things
technical Curtains Boy! The poster said he'd be using a HT,
so he needs some wide-area coverage machines, capable of
picking up weak sigs. 146.76 has poor coverage in Ashevile,
as does 444.900, so why did you shoot off your mouth 2Test?
Probably because things technical confuse you. I will have one
of our loyal BARF members email the gentleman with some
good repeater freqs.

There you go, Llardasssssssss, talking out of your ass again. You can't even pass
a simple 5 wpm code test or pass the General theory exam.

As I recall from *living in the area*, 146.76 was quite good in the Asheville /
Greenville /Spartanburg area. We used it a LOT from Greenville.

Other machines to try ..
146.88 - Shelby
146.01 - Greenville
146.64 - Hendersonville
146.82 - Greenville
147.135 - Brevard

My goodness .. look at all those certifications. I bet he's rolling in $$$
these days.

I told y'all .. he'll be in a new 'Vette someday soon. Nobody believed me.
Just look at him now.

Yep, he'll be waving at us homeless / jobless types as he rides by on his way
to some fancy up-town church or some fancy high priced rest'rant. Or to the
yacht basin.

I just hope he remembers all the little people. Wonder if he'd take Nashville
Joe for a ride in the 'Vette .. ??
