The HA-IPA-team celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Hungarian IPA
section by activating the special callsign HG20IPA in CW, SSB and

Rich,N0HJZ, will be QRV as V31MW from Placencia in the Stan Creek
district from Oct 21-30. He will work in CW on the WARC bands before
and after the WWDX SSB Contest (SOABHP).

VQ9, CAHGOS ARCHIPELAGO, AF-006
Jim,VQ9JC, will use another special prefix callsign VQ92JC from Oct 20
until Nov 4. He will be QRV as much as possible between 1200-1600 UTC.
This is the 6th consecutive year that he has been issued a unique
prefix. The only drawback is that he is still operating Field Day style
from a recreational park running 100 watt from a FT-857 into a dipole
10m high. He will join the upcoming WWDX SSB Contest. He has made a lot
of calls and CQs over the last several months but only very few ops
have answered him due to the bad conditions. He is scheduled to return
to the US after that. QSL via ND9M.
XV, VIETNAM
Yasu,JL7XBN, is planning a 10m FM DXpedition from Oct 19-22. He will
sign XV29FM from Vung Tau in SSB, PSK, JT65A and RTTY on 20m/15m/10m.

cards only direct unfortunately including SAE + 1 IRC/2 USD or 2 EUR.

from the Victoria Falls running 400 watts into a R7000 vertical from

ZD8, ASCENSION ISLAND, AF-003
Marko,N5ZO (ZD8O), will stay on Ascension Island from Oct 18-30 and
plans to take part in the WWDX SSB Contest (SOAB). QSL via OH0XX.
JOTA: The Jamboree on the Air is an annual event in which half a million
Scouts and Guides all over the world make contact with each other by
means of amateur radio. The 55th edition will take place on Oct 20/21.
Specific "contest-free frequencies" for 80m/40m/20m/15m/10m have been
agreed with the organizers of the concurrent WAG Contest in order to
avoid interference between the two events.

He plans to work much in RTTY since EA6 is very rare in this mode.

Another DXpedition to the Mariana Islands is leading Matt,AH0/K0BBC,
and Ron,AH0/N0AT, to Saipan (USi NI002S, WLOTA 1333) from Oct 23-30.

OC-151, YB9, Tenggara Timur Islands (incl. Alor and Solor Isl, Flores,
Komodo, Sawu, Sumba, etc.): Leo,YC9MLL, is living on Flores Island for
8 years and operates mostly in SSB, but also in CW if requested. He is
usually on Saturdays and Sundays, but states that he is on vacation now
and you can send him an e-mail (yc9...@gmail.com) for skeds in CW, SSB,
PSK31, RTTY and SSTV on 40m/20m/15m/10m. He has a homebrew radio with
50-100 watts into a dipole and delta loop antenna. QSL via YC9MLL.
OC-160, VK4, Queensland State (South Coast) North group: Aki,JA1NLX/VK4, is
working from Hamilton Island (Whitsunday Islands archipelago) in CW and
SSB on 40m-10m from Oct 18-23.
