The antenna of AC7JF?
|
| |
Dear Group: A long time colleague of mine, who was once my student and is now retired, is also a great fan of antennas. While driving around Lake Havasu City, AZ, looking at antennas - do we not all do that when we travel - he spotted (and photographed) the antenna of AC7JF. Cobwebb element formula??
|
| |
Is there a formula to set the gamma match on a Cobwebb type element?? as I have built a Cobwebb ant for the higher shortwave broadcast bands using normal unmatched dipoles (468/f) but I don`t think it is optimal hence the need to gamma match!! Regards. Lee ...G6ZSG.

How can one make a dummyload from a LC circuit ?
|
| |
It started when the dummyload was too small for a job. It's for 40 mtrs. But making it is barely possible. It should have a Zo of 50 ohms ? And what about the Q factor ? Looking on my swr meter it gets better when i put my hands near it and at a very small C rate but still in the red. Anyone ?

Causes of Distrust of NEC and Mininec programs
|
| |
Cebic found when comparing different style programs that some behaved well in certain circumstance where others did not. Yet all antenna programs are based on the use of Maxwells equations where all programs should have the same results, after all Maxwells equations are exact and not fudged. One of the reasons is that since Maxwells laws are exact... more »
