color of lotus flower from tuber??

Someone local is saying that he can tell you what
color a lotus flower will be from the tuber?

Anyone ever heard this??

I just divided a light pink, and a very dark red this week.....I had them side
by side....they looked the same to me. By the way no tubers left, but do have
runners with growing tips....( which is a baby tuber) Anyone want one for
postage? Jerri

But K30a didn't say by LOOKING at the tubers, maybe you are supposed to
taste them :-)

I know of a guy who does long range weather forcasting by chewing on raw
pig spleens.
