Hello,

I am looking to add a couple of lighting equipment for my home studio
I am considering setting up.

My current requirement is to achieve a cross lighting effect at about
90 degrees angle, but with an option of moving atleast one of the lights.
I do mostly macros, still life and am considering portraiture.

What is the minimum setup necessary at minimum cost ? This setup should
preferably be expandable.

What options in lighting do I have if I
- want to use day-light balanced lighting only
or can also use tungsten lighting (though not together)
- need 'flood' (continous) rather than 'flash' lighting

Thanks in advance for any suggestions in this regard.

To follow up on my own post, it seems that I had left some important
details out in my previous query. Here they are :

- I shoot mainly 35 mm and med format (6 x 4.5)
(Nikon F4s + accessories, Yashicamat 124G + accessories)
- I shoot color and B/W in 35mm (Macros+Still life) and fine grain B/W
in med fmt (still life)
- Currently indoors, I do only macros (1:2 to 3:1), still life (mostly
available light - windows) with occassional home-made backdrops.
- I've taken up a fancy to do portraiture (mostly high-key).

As always, thankful for any advice/hints/suggestions.
